The Bowlo Holiday Cabins

Great club. Except for one of the barmen, he’s quite rude and not very helpful at all!It all seems too much trouble for him.

Bed was comfy, Room was nice but not very clean, bathroom was not clean and shower base was cracked in several places, hot water fluctuated between cold and hot frequently. Stayed for 4 days and in that time no room service. TV was a good size but was faulty with top section not working properly, only 2 cups supplied and only enough tea/coffee for 2 days.

If you're looking to deter your kids from ever going to jail by all means swing by the bowlo cabins. As the 10ft spiked gates lock behind you and the glare of the sun hitting the cement compound burns into your retinas you will regret the day you ever crossed paths with Narelle (The hostess with the mostess)Don't try playing your get out of jail free card even if you've only been there for 10 mins, Narelle and her incredibly unhelpful manager Greg or George or was it Gary won't let you off without paying a $50 admin fee (for all of their hard work pushing buttons on the eftpos machine)Thank goodness for the wonderful hospitality at the Pacific Motor Inn down the road for restoring our faith in customer service.The Bowlo cabins =Zero to doZero atmosphere-10 for customer serviceWay overpriced

Two night stay, very clean and tidy, well equiped shame we couldn't stay longer. Food at the Bowlo was very good with a comprehensive menu and excellent selection of tasty Chinese dishes. Friendly staff make you feel welcome.

Great position to just about everything in Evans Head.We stayed in the motel style accommodation, clean and roomy but the bed was horrendous. Please replace these king sized monstrosities" with decent queen size ensembles. The join in the middle was so uncomfortable and the actual beds were like sleeping on a deck.The water running down the windows due to the gutters overflowing was also quite disturbing in the middle of the night. We realise that you can't do anything about the rain but you can clean out the gutters. There was grass growing in it

All the cabins are in a secure compound. The Hotel Rooms have fairly spacious sleeping and bathroom areas (the bathroom and shower leave most motels for dead!), all very clean and well-maintained.Rooms appear reasonably new. We've been staying there irregularly over about 5 years – it's our go-to stopover on our trips to Queensland. Love the local area.

Great accommodation. Various styles of cabins. Very clean . No excessive noise. Easy access to the bowling club. Beach less than 100 m metres walk. We will definitely be going back

Well positioned to beach and club has friendly service and good Chinese food. Modern unit but terrible beds. So hard. The massage therapist I went to commented she has a lot of clients coming from the cabins commenting on the hard beds.
