My daughter loved it.It was great for her as she was on a full sized horse, and was taught to stop, start and steer the horse.And was able to move around without the trainer holding onto the horse.Hot for spectators unless you sit up at the table in the shade. But you won't be able to view the kids.Was a calm and friendly experience.Recommended for both boys and girls that want to get close to horses.Was a great gift for our little girls birthday.

I ride with the Friday morning Ladies Group led by Deb and Tania. What a lovely bunch of ladies to spend 3 hours with! We start with a welcome cup of coffee to get to know each other, then we saddle up and head out on one of the many forestry trails nearby. The horses are so much better than your standard trail ride horse. They are fit, sure footed, placid.... yet eager to move when asked and quite simply a pleasure to ride.Deb ensures everyone is matched with their perfect horse and keeps the rides interesting with different locations and ensures we have fun with lots of opportunity to trot and canter and even jumping small logs.If you are looking for a fun, relaxed ride amongst gorgeous scenery on beautiful, well kept horses, this is it! The value for money is excellent. You will learn something new every ride and you will make wonderful friends along the way.

I started my journey with horses again after an absence of 25 years. I immediately felt safe and understood by Debbie who helped me build up my confidence and abilities with riding, horse handling and horse care.Debbie’s knowledge, passion and skills is testament through her love and dedication, to share these through her coaching and her wonderful books, which are fun, informative and a must have for all ages who want to begin or continue with their horse journey.I highly recommend Debbie as both a coach and author and look forward to continuing my journey with her and her beautiful horses.

My daughter LOVES her lessons every week. All teachers are very professional, friendly and patient with every student. She has so much more confidence and understanding with horses after attending Bonogin Horse Retreat.Thanks to all the staff and horses you’re amazing!!!

There is no drought that this place is a 5 star review. I have been coming here for quite awhile now and every time I come I never want to leave. This place is is good for all ages there is a horse for all types of people. All the horses are well taken care of. The horses are very well trained. Also there staff are very kind and professional, they teach you a lot and so nice. You will never find a better horse riding place. If you want to learn about horses without being around them you should definitely check them out. This is the best place ever. Thank you Deb and her team for an amazing experience I hope to learn more.

Great riding school. Lovely, well-looked-after horses with excellent temperaments. Quality tack with comfortable saddles. Very good tuition in a friendly and relaxed stable. Would definitely recommend.

I took my 9 year old daughter for an Intro to Horse Riding session last weekend. She had a great time. The one hour lesson was very well done, easy and fun enough for the kids to be engaged and as a parent I learned a bit myself! Good pace for all age levels and very professional. The horses were very well trained. Just a shame there are no Saturday private lessons available or we would be there every month to further my daughters interest in riding.
