Sebastopol Dog Park

Probably the best dog park I have ever been to. It is huge with open spaces, play and training aids along with trees and water for humans and dogs. Absolutely wonderful.

Wide, fenced green grassy areas for dogs to run around, this park is among the favourites for local dogs. There is access to water fountains, bins and poo bags to help keep the place tidy and welcoming.The fenced area of park is off leashed area that is free outdoor space with car parking and wheelchair accessible entrance.There are bathroom close by at M.R.Power Reserve making a great spot the dogs and kids alike.

Fenced, quite good paths, can be some minor muddy patches in Winter, two drink stations, some shade, good parking, good grassy areas for play & running. Nearby playground for the kids, BBQ facilities, public toilets.

Great Dog park. Well fenced area with double gates in two spots for leashing/unleashing. Different rocks and logs and terrain for the dogs and an undercover area for people when it rains. Quite close to public toilets as well. Also has public bins which are handy.

My dog loves this park. It's large enough for a really good run around for the pooches. There is seating and a tree area for the doggos to catch a break in the shade. It is very clean as people pick up after their pups. Drinking facilities available for the dogs as well... Toys available too...

They have gradually been improving this space. It has all the elements to keeo dogs interested and engaged. There are some small hills, rocks to climb, bars to jump over etc and of course fresh water.Nice spots for owners to walk and or just sit and watch their pooches play. Best dog park I have ever seen.

My dogs love going to the dog park. I have been to parks in other locations and this park is up there with the best of them. There is room for dogs to run and play, while the ones who just want a quiet stroll can usually do so.I have heard people complain about it getting muddy. My thoughts are that this is a DOG park. When it rains, of course it is going to get muddy! It wouldn't be a dog park if it was enclosed, or had a roof over it ( apart from the fact that this would be extremely expensive. Yes, the dogs might get muddy sometimes, but nearly all dogs love playing in the mud, just as kids do. It is good, unpolluted mud. There is nothing to hurt the dogs...no rubbish, no chemicals or oil or other harmful substances.I have small dogs. And herein lies my only problem. They really do not enjoy it when big dogs bound over to them and act aggressive. This only occurs occasionally. However there are notices up which illustrate inappropriate dog behaviour. All owners are expected to read, and heed, this information. This is a PUBLIC place, where owners are responsible for the behaviour of their dogs. It is a PUBLIC place for all dogs.Please, let's keep it a happy place, a safe place , where all dogs are safe.

My kids are a bit wierd and decided the dog park was more fun than the actual playground. We didn't even have a dog with us and there were no dogs in the park. Probably a good place to take the dog anyway, the fencing kept the kids in so ..

Very nice dog park, and most cases people pick up after their pets so not too 'swampy' out there if you know what I mean! Usually pets are well behaved too which is good, but you never know with lots of dogs together so always be careful and watch your pets :)
