Siemensma Nicholas Dr

I have been with the Dr. Siemensma for 2 years, I think the treatment so far is very effective. Hay fever and allergies cannot be treated instantly, it requires years of time. It is common knowledge. I used to have very bad hay fever, but most of the symptoms are gone and I have recommended friends to check it out. I have spent around 400 bucks a year, and I think to get rid of hay fever, it is not a lot of money.

Had allergy testing for chronic moderate blocked throat/nasal symptoms which identified an aspergillus (mould) allergy. First course of treatment improved 80%, then somewhat returned after a couple of years. A second course of treatment led to a permanent improvment of around 90%. Not cheap but huge quality of life benefit is completely worthwhile. As per other reiews this type of treatment is likely to make a big difference to most, but not all, people

I I have suffered from reoccurring sinusitis (about 10 times per year) which would then trigger my asthma for the last 20 years. My GP treated my sinusitis with excessive amounts of antibiotics. My GP referred me to Dr Siemensma and we discovered that I am allergic to grass, but particularly rye grass. After taking the full course of the desensitisation Dr Siemensma prescribed, it has completely cured my sinusitis. I have only had one episode of Asthma in 1.5 years. I have had a second course of the desensitisation now and possibly a 3rd is required, and I can say that Dr Siemensma has changed my life significantly and I am very grateful. I no longer have sinusitis and a terribly congested head. Thank you Dr Siemensma

I have to put 1 star as the clinic has permanently closed without any notice to patients, the clinic sold expensive bespoke hayfever treatment that had to be administired over multiple years and now patients are left in the lurch. If you call the office an un-monitored answering service advises the same that the office is closed and you can only contact a gmail address for patient history.

I first saw Nicholas Siemensma over 30 years ago. I found him professional, caring and sympathetic. He has helped me so much and I will continue to see him. Allergies are not easy to treat.

I used to go to Dr Siemensma but stopped because he couldn't help my dust mite allergy. It was always the case of let's do more, let's change the formula. For four years he did this and nothing worked. To put it simply it is just not worth it. Go buy yourself some nasonex or allergy tablets and use when required. I do just that. The time wasted driving there and limited parking was also frustrating. However his hayfever injections did work and I haven't had symptoms since. So I guess he is good value for those. As for his staff some are pleasant some are not, as they don't stay there for too long. I guess that applies to most jobs. Take it for what it is.

Nothing happened after the first round of injections to treat dust mite allergy. But after the first injection of the second round, I could feel itches around my arms and torso within 24 hours. The doctor noted this happens to only a very small percentage of patients and should subside quickly enough over some weeks. Various prescribed over-the-counter medications and a few years later, these itches still come on every now and then. I didn't experience these prior to the treatment.

After a good 2 or so years of suffering from PND/allergy, the doctor referred me to Nicholas and my appointment was today. I found him to be direct, positive, sympathetic and professional. I cannot wait to see if his treatment gives me the relief I have been searching for so long.

Dr Nicholas Siemensma is a Genius! I saw him in 1998 and his processes took my hay fever away for 10 years. I have now gone back after a waisted year with another allergist (Purely because I forgot Nicholas's name). I was put on a crash course of desensitisation during the worst time for my hay fever and my symptoms drastically reduced. This guy is the best in the business! My Doctor concurs!
