Located close to Tamworth this place is a comfortable stay for trips away. The rooms are comfortable and clean. With daily servicing to keep it tidy.Rooms are probably due for a refresh with new televisions probably on the list for the owners but they were adequate. The team at both front desk and in the bar/restaurant are friendly and chatty without being overly so.Location is close to town with supermarket, takeaway and bottle shop close by. Only 1km to Peel St cafes and shops this is a great place for short stay.

Comfortable room with basic amenities and mini bar. Ordered evening meal with room service - decent serving size and delivered very quickly. Parking a little tight (though the learner driver next door possibly didn't help), but overall a pretty good place to spend the night.

Steven Australia9.0Reviewed: 21 February 2023We'll be back!Liked · My wife & l did our research on reviews for Best Western Sanctuary Inn, as well as other accomodation available in Tamworth (having never been to Tamworth previously, & not knowing anyone involved with or employed by the business/company). Decided to experience it for ourselves & put the many negative/petty reviews to the test. We will be back! Loved the location - being on the same side of the river as the CBD (& not far from the CBD, but still reasonably quiet!) was helpful & easier, but having access to the Woolworths over the road was also a beneficial option. Free Parking was great, especially with CBD having some ticketed parking. Stayed in a Superior Queen Room & slept like logs every night despite being closer to the road. Our room was clean & with small signs of use/wear, but not outdated - bed comfortable & mattress etc clean. No issues with water pressure or temperature, & the detachable shower head was thoughtful - also thoughtful was provision of pool towels in the room. Pool & Spa were operational & we thoroughly enjoyed that area every day of our stay. Handy note: Spa" button does not have an "Off" switch

Only stayed overnight but had a problem with the room, being in need of an update and unfortunately not very clean. Spiderwebs on top of the air-conditioning, filthy! seat covers on chairs and a hair-dryer and fitting that hasn't had a scrub for ages. No fan in the bathroom and the whole idea to have a spa bath in the main room is as worn and outdated as the tub was!On the upside, service was great and the restaurant served up some good country cooking at big city prices.

Friendly staff and clean rooms. Only down side was that the water in the shower used to fluctuate between boiling and freezing. Other than that it was beautiful hotel. Amazing restaurant I had the continental breakfast it was consistent throughout my 4 day stay. Dinner was great as well but I’d recommend to stay away from the $50 steak wasn’t worth it and the roasted potatoes tasted weird.

Very disappointed about Best Western standards.I am using BW specially for my business trips and I where always very happy with the service and facilities of this hotel chain. This time, it was much different! The room was like build with sandwich panels, no noice protection.Windows was build in probably in the 80th. There was an mosquito net on the one slidable window but it never covers the entire surface. I guess the net was installed some 10 years ago…The entire window area was covered by spider Net. Windows where very dirty…We had spiders, mosquitos in the room.Front office staff was unfriendly and less helpful. We had the feeling that they pay us for our visit and not vice versa.Car park was goodIt has change my impression about Best Western group. This place could be a bad & breakfast motel bud not a hotel

Room was spacious, 2 seater lounge and small table, room was musty on arrival nut freshened up after airing. Best described as retro as room an ensuite was clean enough, it's in need of a reno. Breakfast was included on our stay, available in the on site dining room which was excellent. Location is very close to cbd.

First ...how do they make there beds? the bottom sheet didn't even make it past the pillow, and the doona cover was it 2 sheets sandwiching the doona or some new type of cover!! The linen was first class, towels no problem. Second Now for the meal I had a pasta called Cacio E Pepe I have not come across it before but it was so thick with cheese and cream and more cheese went on top is this how our Italian mates would have there pasta? Apart from that the service from the staff was as friendly and professional as you would ask

The room was in need of an upgrade. Light bulbs out, TV not working. Dislike stepping into a bathtub to shower.
