Attention to detail seems lacking, although adequate, the food lacked quality control.Any trained and qualified food service person would know it was sub standard.The atmosphere has been variable and felt clicky several times I've visited over the past 3 years, and staff, although pleasant, come across as dismissive, or flippant.

The decore is slightly outdated but don't let this put you off - The staff are friendly and approachable, the menu is price well and the food was really good - Best Parma I have had in years, chicken was tender and juicy, not over cooked like a lot of other places and the deserts were exceptional!

Great country pub with generous meals, amazing prices, and an old world charm, which is worth the trip to Clunes and see the history of the area on the Pub Walls. The meals are to enjoy have a beer or wine then explore the town and area.

Beautiful meal fantastic service, we arrived for lunch and there would have been about 35 other people there for lunch. The meals came out very quickly and delicious

Good hearty food, except my vegetarian lasagne was served rather luke warm. I'm sure they would have reheated it if asked but I couldn't be bothered. Everyone else was happy with their food, in particular the veg pizza, so I should have gone for that too.
