I live a 5 hour round trip from the Bega store. Due to finishing my morning Doctors' appointments I could have had a 2 and a half hour or more wait for my 3:15 pm appointment.On approaching the staff and explaining the situation they immediately ushered me in and started the consultation over 2 hours early. They were accommodating, pleasant and really trying to please.To all the Bega staff a great big thank you for getting us back home at 4 pm, rather than doing a run back up the mountains and getting home at 6-7 pm.I cannot speak too highly of their willingness to be helpful and obliging.

I thought I was giving feedback to Specsavers. But at the end of their survey I was asked if I'd like to give a review on Google. The Specsaver form did not have a 'no' option. So here it is:Our experience was very 'average'.

So willing to help you, both in prescribing glasses or hearing aids. The service is unbelievable and any adjustments freely given. If you are after satisfaction and at a price that squashes the competition this place is fantastic. Located inside Sapphire Market Place Bega between Woolies and Big W.

This was my first experience with Specsavers and I was impressed. Two days ago I attended Specsavers and had an eye test. They use modern and non-invasive equipment. They were busy but there was only a short wait for each service being provided. The next day I returned to Specsavers to choose frames. I dealt with Tiffany who was very professional and personable throughout the whole process. She explained each step of measuring me for the glasses. It was a good experience. Thank you Tiffany and Specsavers, I'm confident I'll be a long-term customer.

I would have preferred to email Specsavers Bega direct, but I'm unable to find an email address, so this seems to be the only opportunity for providing writing feedback apart from sending a letter.I had a standard eye test in early 2022 as I was renewing my licence and an eye test was required. This was my first visit to the Bega branch of Specsavers although I have used them in 2 previous locations.My first mistake was not checking that I could find suitable spectacles before I had the eye examination. I'd never had an issue before finding a pair that worked on my small face , so I was disappointed that no other option apart from what was on the shelves was offered and ended up with a pair that were much larger and took up more of my face than I've ever had from 60years of wearing glasses. I've now discovered that Specsavers have an online website where I would have had more choice.The outcome being I was not totally happy with the size or shape of the spectacles but was prepared to wear that.Not long after, I started to notice that I was having difficulty reading the large green main roads signs on major roads from a reasonable distance, having to wait until I was nearly next to them to be able to read them confidently. Due to COVID I was working from home during the first part of 2022 so I wasn't really driving much. I went into the Bega store twice in 2022 and both times was told it was how the glasses were sitting on my face in particular the angle and distance of the spectacles to my eyes. Minor adjustments were made to my spectacles with slight improvements to my long distance vision but still not sufficient for confident driving.I finally decided that Specsavers Bega staff couldn't help me despite their pleasant manner and keenness to assist. What is now clear is that they were all out of their depth.I've now been advised by an optometrist report from Specsavers Albury who I visited in 2019 that I was starting to develop cataracts on both eyes and this explains my blurry vision particularly at distance as confirmed by my local independent optometrist seen recently.My dissatisfaction with Specsavers Bega is that I trusted them to adequately advise me of my eye health – so that I could explore options for slowing down my cataracts and provide spectacles that would allow me to drive safely. They failed on both accounts and as such I will never again use their services.

Great service, very welcoming, polite and friendly staff, very detailed, clear communication and great great great service and thankyou all the staff of bega Specsavers.

We were served by Malak today, and as always her customer service was attentive and helpful. She was very patient as we had our two young children with us, and even offered suggestions for my husband. He's very happy with his choice of glasses and is looking forward to picking them up as soon as they're ready.
