I have known Bayfield Printing as a business for 40 years now. They’re attention to detail has been known all over Brisbane as a business to watch out for..Their highly successful offshoot called Abell Typesetting was one of the top enterprises looking after most of the major advertising companies in Brisbane until the unfortunate destruction of their managing director Iain McLeod who was forced out in 1991.Luckily Abell Typesetting was turned into the hugely successful Scotset of which a major thanks was given to the inestimable Tam Hayfield and his red haired Machineman partner Doug Wakeup.One of the few printers still in operation these days we must give thanks to Ivy Dickson who helped Bayfield cum what it now is.
