DOGUE Bulimba

Previous 2 cuts were okay. Today I am so upset. The whole back section of her ears have been hacked off all the way to the skin! 1/3 of her ears are gone. Very uneven, looks so weird.As a Cavoodle she had really poofy ears, with gorgeous curls at the back. I brushed her before bringing her so there were no knots.$97 later despite them admitting it looked wrong. I will never again pay before I check again.

Took my little puppy Regina for a groom, she looked amazing after and seemed very happy! When I picked her up she was playing with another dog and seemed to be having the time of her life. I’m super glad she enjoyed her first groom. Excited to take her back and make this our regular groomer!Also amazing selection of doggy accessories and treats!

I am not one to usually complain, and I will give each business a fair chance. However, I have taken both my Spoodles to Dogue since I have had them both as I like to build long-term relationships with the likes of dentists, doctors, etc. And now dog groomers! And that was the hope for Dogue. Unfortunately, after booking a scheduled appointment over six weeks in advance, Dogue called me and cancelled on me the day before the scheduled appointment. I politely asked that a revised appointment confirmation be sent to me via text or email, as they usually do, as I was attending business meetings during their call of cancellation. I received no text, email or email appointment confirmation.I had an apparent" appointment on 4/4/2023 which was then texted to me 30 mins after the apparently scheduled date/time of the appointment

They made my dog so ugly! I asked them not to touch her face and tail .. and they did shaved her completely.. she was a beautiful little cute toy cavoodle.. and now she looks like a rat ..She looks terrible but most importantly she feels terrible. She is so Unhappy and super anxious!Why did they cut her whiskers?? Cutting or trimming dog's whiskers is never recommended!VERY disappointed!!!Horrible experience. Avoid!

Took my puppy in for her first groom and we had the Wash & Tidy to ease her into the grooming process. Hazel is quite shy and nervous so I don't know what their secret is but she let them pick her up AND carry her away within 5 minutes!!, she is so clean and fluffy and smells lovely, I am very pleased and will be back for sure

Two very happy puppies and definitely cuter than ever. I feel so comfortable leaving our fur babies with these caring and helpful groomers.

Very keen to support small business within our community, and attempted to shop in store today around 1:45pm, store was locked with a sign saying ‘will return in 15minutes’. Waited until 2pm, no one returned, so I called the number for the store multiple times, no answer.Then left, returned at 2:50, the sign still up in the store window and store stillLocked. Called the number again, and someone in store said they were taking a break until 3pm, who then let me in 5 minutes later after realising I was standing outside the store waiting. Very keen to continue to support small business, but the store needs to be reliably open in between the specified opening hours.

Have been to Dogue Bulimba previously and could not recommend highly enough, especially for a breed specific haircut, which I have always been happy to pay that bit extra for. This time they failed to meet expectation. Advised clearly to leave ears long and just tidy up as needed (was noted on her file on top of all her previous notes from grooms prior). Returned to collect her and her ears were hacked off. I use the word “hacked” as that is the best description for it. Not only ridiculously short but all uneven and on closer inspection still had knots in them so makes me believe not even brushed. The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is that Matt could not have been more apologetic, offering a $20 discount. Unfortunately, apologies nor a discount will fix this terrible groom. We won’t be back.

We took our cavoodle Teddy for his first groom this week. He looks so handsome now, and smells amazing! The staff at Dogue were so lovely and kind with Teddy.
