Rubicon Valley Horse Riding

A friend and I went on a two hour trail ride here this weekend. It was fantastic, very helpful staff, lovely horses and gorgeous views. I would very much recommend Rubicon Valley HR for all riders, from novice to experienced, they cater for everyone.

Was my first time ever riding a horse and Chris was a great guide ! He was very safety conscious and ensured everyones best interests were in mind. We did the 3 hr trek and it was fantastic. My partner is an experienced rider and thoroughly enjoyed herself on the well trained and looked after horses

What a great experience! I was there with my daughter and we were both very well looked after. The staff were very calm, and made every one feel comfortable and confident. We did the introduction trail - we didn't feel rushed at any time and would thoroughly recommend it!

Had such a amazing morning at Rubicon Horse Riding!!! I was “dragged” along by Mum not very enthusiastic about riding as I have had some bad experiences before with horses, but Ken made me feel so at ease, as well as the girls keeping a eye on us. During the times we would trot they guided you through how to move every time and stuck with the less confident riders— the morning turned into such a enjoyable time and I couldn’t recommend these guys highly enough! Even chatting to Di & Ken (owners) about how they pick their horses for us to ride, the process is very long and they really go over the horses history and ride style before they buy to ensure the riders on the trips have a safe and fun time!!! Thank you so much guys!!! Amazing time, amazing senic track, amazing staff and of course gorgeous horses!!!

I've been riding here for about 10 years and taken many groups here of varying levels. Everyone has fun cantering - even complete beginners. We see wild kangaroos, foxes, and birds of prey in this pristine mountain setting. Ken & Di run a beautiful operation with a team of bright young capable helpers. The horses adapt to the skill of their rider to ensure the best ride.I couldn't recommend it more highly

Spent a 2 hour ride here at Rubicon Valley horse riding and it was probably one of the best experiences.Had the best, easy going and responsive horse, fantastic trail ride guides in one of the most picturesque places in Victoria.And to top it off we then enjoyed a cuppa and biscuits with the group after the ride.Can't rate them highly enough.

Very happy with them. I'm a nervous, beginner rider and Ken made me and my husband feel very safe on the horses. The trail has extremely picturesque views, going up and down hills! Beautiful horses, beautiful views and super friendly people. Worth every cent!Would recommend to any new beginner riders. Experienced riders would definitely enjoy the trail too!Keep up the good work!

Absolutely amazing experience at Rubicon Valley Horse Riding. Both my partner and I are first time riders and would not hesitate to recommend Rubicon to other beginners and families. Right from our initial phone conversation, Ken was very friendly, extremely patient and thorough with all the information he provided us. The ride itself was through a very scenic trail with spectacular views and is worth the money. We did the 2 hour ride and had about 8 other riders along with us and everyone was well looked after. The horses are very well trained and the trainers are always keeping a close watch on everyone. The care and warmth Ken showed us will definitely have us going back.

Brilliant family fun, we'll run and really friendly people. Introductory ride went by a beautiful stream.
