Received phone call today from Mr KellySaying my accommodation (end march) was now $800 for the week and not $400 as previously discussed on 2 separate occasions mid January with him and his wife. How rude and greedy not a good start to my first time in Tasmania. Extremely disappointed and disgusted!

Loved it hence the 5 stars please note these stars are for the place for the price we paid. It is a 2 bedroom cabin in a caravan park. The park has a playground, laundry and BBQ area. The room is clean and spacious. I was thoroughly impressed and will happily stay again .

Worst caravan park I have ever stayed at. We paid $140 per night (stayed for two nights) our friends also stayed in the cabin beside us. There was no working tvs in either cabin. You could not shower without the hot water and water pressure cutting out. One cabin had a leaking hot tap that our two year old burnt his hand on. The windows in the kids room would not close leaving an inch cap we had to try and put a doona cover across the windows to stop the wind which didnt help much. Will not be going back and would not recommend staying for this price.

Just like walking into the 1950's, however, you pay 2030 prices!! We did have pleasant stay in a cabin, it was fully equipped and the kids had a ball. The town is small so the location is pretty central, maybe a 5min walk to the beach. Although the nearby caravan park is probably better if you want direct beach access and cafe at your doorstep.
