I am really shocked & disappointed in the way I was treated at the Carindale store today. Upon entering my husband approached one of the workers who informed him that all items in the store was 50% off, at my request.I chose 4 items & took it over to the checkout. Olivia served me. I asked her if the items were coming up as 50% off. She said yes. I paid for my items but after I was handed my receipt I checked it & noticed one of my tops at full price $19.99. I asked Olivia why this dress was full price? She said the pink tickets were already discounted. I informed her that if it’s that expensive I don’t want it.She asked for her Manager Jessica, to come & process a refund & walked away. Jessica then told me that I could only get a store credit. I informed her that I just paid for it & it’s not 50% off. She told me that’s your store policy. I was shocked as my items weren’t in a bag & she refused to refund my money.I asked her if the store sold cargo pants & she said yah but only a few sizes. I asked her if I can have a size 6 & she said no. I can’t sell them to you. I felt so discriminated against.I took the voucher and remained calm however she was starting to make me very upset. She asked for all my personal details & didn’t explain anything. I have never been asked to provide my full name, address & number for an item I just bought. At the end of taking my details she handed me the receipt & just stood there. I also stood there. I then asked if she was going to put my other items in a bag. She said did you pay for it? I told her she just refunded me from these items & asked her to check the receipt. She looked at original receipt. I told her I want the receipt for the other items. She then handed me my original receipt after taking a photo on her phone & we left the store.Under ACCC, it is illegal to make misleading statements & false advertising. I should have been entitled to a refund instead of a store credit as I just bought the item & not a single staff had told me that I couldn’t get a refund on my items.There was no signs in store saying the item as were already marked at reduced amount, which again is false advertising.I would like your management to take this further as this type of customer service is not acceptable.

I've been here quite a few times over the years and got some fantastic clothes from here. They have redecorated recently and everything is bright and easily accessible which is good. I personally prefer the old look as it had more stock and the layout was great. Last couple of times I've been in the staff haven't approached me. The clothes also seem more basic than they used to.

Had a great experience at this store it was clean and tidy. The staff was more then happy to help me even while being very indecisive. The lady helping me was super friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I will be back!

Took my daughter shopping here. The new fitout of the store is amazing. Love it. Staff super friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere 10/10

Olivia and Blair helped me pick an outfit and offered to stay past there hours to help me out, super lovely and kind , definitely recommend and the outfits are gorgeous

Not a fan of the revamp. The staff are unfriendly and the clothes are way too overpriced. It is unfortunate as it use to be my go to. I miss the old Ally.

I would have to strongly agree with the review below me - I thought it was just me thinking this but I also have been shopping here for over 4 years and the new revamp is not as exciting or bigger than the old design. I love how the store layout was before and it looked better. Some of the workers did not greet or acknowledge me considering the store is smaller and easier to see customers when walking in and browsing around. (This has happened a couple of times in quiet times as well)

Had the worst experience while shopping here at about 8pm tonight. While using change rooms a young boy opened the curtain on the girl next to me he then proceeded to open the curtain of my change room while I was completely naked from the waist up, with multiple onlookers outside. As I knew I was the 2nd lady he did this too I popped my head out and said “excuse me please don’t open my curtain” I was then berated by his mother and her family for speaking to her child like that. Whilst completely embarrassed because everyone has seen me naked she then proceeds to insult and swear at me while hanging around the change room waiting for me to leave. Staff were no help, I had such anxiety from the whole ordeal I was literally shaking and had to get my boyfriend to come in as they surrounded my change room. I was even called immature by the girl who served me I believe Jess was her name never again will I shop at this ally.
