Midway Motel & Roadhouse
The food in the evenings from the hot box are very good the chef is a great cook if you are staying in the motel eat here in the evenings. The rooms are pretty good with good beds and warm showers. The main focus is the big tv. House cleaning is hit and miss one of the days my room was not even attended to.

Accommodation had wet floor that we had to mop up with a towel. The only positives were the massive TV and new rooms. Food from the roadhouse was truly ordinary. Food and beverages advertised weren't available. Suitable for a tradie stop but there were other options I wish I'd known about. Not all accommodation came up in my google search but there was much better.

All rooms are air-conditioned, reasonably appointed, ironing board, iron, large screen TV, fridge with tea & coffee facilities, laundry/ dryer facilities @$4.00 per load including dryer.A 24hr Shell/Liberty service station is also incorporated into the site, meals are good, very friendly service.Would definitely recommend stopping the night if you're travelling a long distance.

Excellent rooms for the price. Have stayed a few times now and the rooms are always clean and well maintained. Great location right across from the lake. Really good place to stay when you're passing through, very quick to checkout, fuel up and get back on the road the next day

Great prices, great TV and shower. Clean and good quality. Food next door excellent. Had to go back and buy the beef curry for the next 2 days as it was so good. Pizzas and the chips also really good.

This place was a perfect overnight stop for me traveling from Townsville to Mount Isa in QLD in a car.It is a truckers stop with Shell Fuel station, but has accommodation attached to it. Nice rooms with in-front covered parking (3m approx height) and fast WIFI and FOXTEL!!Small town with 24 hrs open store serving food like Pizza or selection form bain marie.They have the most comfortable bed for sure, better than hotels I would say.Keep it up and pleas keep it as clean as it is atm like new.

The person preparing our Bacon & Egg burger was using gloves, all good. But then he went and served at the counter, with same gloves on handling items that some grubs were handling and then went back to handling our burgers. The rooms are nice bar the lack of cleanliness. Mould forming in usual places in shower recess, what looked like a blood stain on entrance door frame was not cleaned off.

The room definitely exceeded my expectations!I was not expecting much when I drove up and saw that the motel was part of the servo, but you wouldn’t be able to tell from inside the room!Nice spacious shower that was hot with great water pressure.Comfortable bed, powerful air-con, large smart TV.The roadhouse also served hot food with cook to order options) at reasonable prices. It also had a large selection of servo type items, for any last minute snacks/drinks for your journey. =)

These guys were great.Late night booking. Absolutely perfect to sleep and refresh for the night. Clean.Well appointed. Value for money. 24 hour servo that serves food.
