Open Sunday evening. We discovered the Cafe by chance. Had a monster sized steak topped with garlic prawns.Fast friendly service.

No childrens menu. Had cutlery out for reserved tables and I was told to get my own. Wife had fish and chips and paid $6 extra for a meager salad that you would consider normally to be part of the meal. I had the parmigiana (came with salad but cost more) it was a good size and tasty. Daughter had the cheeseburger (couldn't finish it) and that was tasty also. Very nice alfresco area in from of a beautiful sunset.

Mmm! Don't know what we've missed, reading previous reviews. Had luch here Good Friday and were very disappointed. We ordered grilled fish with salad and chips. The fish was overcooked and tough and the salad was heavy with olive oil. The service was friendly.

Absolutely delicious, been several times, tried a different dish everytime. Fresh, delicious, best Salt n Pepper Squid I've ever tried. The cakes are all made in house and fresh. The coffee is divine. Beautiful spot down by the sea. Picture of last night's dinner

The food was great and came in a really big portion, I was surprised by the portion of the meal and it is reasonably priced! It is highly recommended to have a meal here if you are visiting Carnarvon or going to the north!

It was a bit of a wait for our food, but it so worth it. Hands down one of the best places in carnarvon to eat. The food was wonderful, the service was very pleasant and accommodating of all our changes.

I have been to mare sol for breakfast, lunch and dinner previously and it never disappoints. Fresh and well made food always served with pride and in huge portions. Always love supporting small family business. Would recommend a visit if you’re in Carnarvon.

This place was recommended by a colleague when I was in town for work. I rate the fish and chip highly, there are a few fish to choose from; barramundi and others. I chose the red spot as recommended by the guy behind the til. I wouldn’t rate the garlic prawns but everything else was 5 stars

It's outside of the business strip here but it's worth the short drive out. Grab a table by the road and enjoy the beautiful view of the sunset if you come during the evening.The portion is huge and the food is good. No wonder it's a popular among the locals and tables fill up fast. We had the sticky beef ribs which was tender with a good smoky sweet glaze, and ocean and reef which has a fresh piece of fish and some prawns.The only unfortunate thing was it's out of stock on a few things like mussels and pizzas.

We had a fantastic lunch. The Cheese Burger was great, the Seafood Basket was full of local catch, and the House Fried Chicken was possibly the biggest pieces of fried chicken we’ve seen in ages (no bones, amazing crust). And can I just say the Berry Go Round smoothie was both enormous and refreshing.The staff were great, the place was clean and cool (we ate inside), and it’s definitely somewhere we’d eat again when we’re back in the region.
