Tried this place for the first time for the Mandi because you can rarely find Mandi at any restaurant in Adelaide and it did not disappoint! Loved the Lamb Mandi! The portion is huge, the food tastes amazing and great value for your money! Definitely coming back to try other items of the menu!

Excellent food. Menu is extensive and seasonal to a particularly high standard. Definitely fine dining. The rates are very reasonable and they do different deals on different nights so it’s worth Trying. Highly recommended for dishes like #Biryani #Mandi and Many more mouth watering items.

I ordered a buffet take away today. Quality wise I would give it 3***. Taste was good, and quantity was way less. A normal container of chicken 65 and nahari wasn't even filled properly. Biryani tasted good but I am 100% sure it wasn't fresh. Same with other things.I got two containers of chicken biryani, one container of nahari, one container of chicken 65, 2 pieces of fish (small), two pieces of chicken legs (small), rabri ( small), yoghurt and one other gravy to go with biryani.

I went there today and ordered 2 lamb biryani and 1 chicken, guy told me it will take only 10 minutes and I end up waiting more than 30 mins, not much meat in mostly bones, too bad I expected better, momo and more have better biryani, too bad this one is just 500 meters away from me.

So far I have never come across any restaurant in Adelaide that serves quality Mandi rice. So I decided to go try the Mandi at Shahi Zaiqa. Another Halal restaurant in Adelaide. The day I went we ordered a Family Mandi priced $65. The serve was generous and well more than enough to feed 3 hungry adults and 2 kids. The rice alone was flavourful and perfectly made to taste. I love the rice. The combo included lamb, chicken and fish with some vegetables (for salad) and sauces. The most interesting bit was for some reason there was no lamb shank which is the most important, and it was substituted by lamb pieces. There was no chicken that’s usually served with a Mandi instead they substituted with chicken65. Finally some cheap white fish pretty much tasteless (assume it was Basa fried), which was not preferred by any of us. Only if the Mandi included lamb shanks and roasted chicken I’d have given it 5-Stars. The Mandi definitely has room for improvement, how ever it is comparatively the best Mandi in town at the moment. You should give it a try.

Went to Shahi Zaiqa for the first time last week and loved it! Very secluded and private location, service was exceptional and food absolutely delicious and authentic, great mix of Indian and Arabian Menu at one place!Do try finger licking Mandi Platter!

Ordered Chicken 65 Biryani. Absolutely disappointed since:1. Quantity of Chicken is not sufficient.2. This is the worst aspect: There's a mountain of Plain Rice underneath those Chicken pieces. How on earth did you get the right to call it a Biryani??I called the restaurant about the same and was told that's how a biryani is made. And he said The plain rice is Biryani Rice" how hilarious is that.Upon collection at the restaurant when asked for extra Raita

I had the lamb Mandi, chicken murgh methi, and vegetarian korma. The lamb Mandi was a huge serve for $20 and the lamb was very tender. It came with tomato purée and yoghurt dipping sauce to counteract the dryness. The sauces made it refreshing without being too strongly spiced.The chicken murgh was a strong spicy curry. Very tasty. It counteracted the less spicy Mandi well.Good value sizes and tasty.
