I recently had my first experience in organising a funeral for a loved one. The team at Newhaven extended us every courtesy and patience during a difficult time and helped us to achieve a loving and dignified farewell. Special thanks to Hannah for being so supportive, you present a very positive impression of the business and in such difficult times to have someone like you to offer support and guidance is monumental.

At such a difficult time Daniel and celebrant Doug Austin were very professional and efficient but most of all compassionate and the service was a celebration of life i highly recommend Newhaven

Having used Newhaven Funerals in Mackay twice I can't fault the service of the team. They are professional, both in person and via email and phone. Nothing was too much trouble. My adult daughter took her own life. The shock of this was indescribable.Unbeknownst to my self, my son phoned David Clayton regarding his sister's death, inquiring about the process to bring her back home. I had several phone calls from David just touching base and later, step by step, as to where my daughter was and her journey back home. He walked beside my self & my son & family respectfully, when time stood still for us.David's respectful attitude continued through the time of the viewing and the Thanks Giving Service. There was a video link to our family who were interstate. The positive feed back from them was simple the best. They were with us and they were able to share in the pain of saying good bye.Although our hearts were broken, we were truly encouraged to take our time in saying good bye to my precious daughter, sister, aunt & niece.So very grateful, thank you David Clayton and administration staff.Carolyn M.

Newhaven funerals and crematorium staff made a heartbreaking time just that little bit easier. Every detail was taken care of in such a loving and professional way, even when we changed of mind on a number of occasions it was never any trouble.All staff were kind and supportive. We never felt any pressure just gentle guidance.The service was beautiful,unique and so fitting of our loved one, all staff were outstanding. Our brother was a huge Avengers fan and Newhaven went out of their way to ensure the funeral was truly a celebration of his life. There were tears and sadness but also joy for the remarkable man he was to us all. The attention to detail and all the extra touches to ensure our superhero had a real Avengers funeral were appreciated more than words can say.Sadly our family has said goodbye to another family member. Newhaven have provided another amazing funeral for us. The celebration of our beautiful Mum’s life was outstanding. We can’t thank Newhaven enough for their sensitivity and professionalism.
