Mcintosh's Quality Cakes

This centre is fairly lose to where I work so I buy from this shop quite a lot. I can say I have always found what I have bought to be fresh.The only thing I don't like is the way in which they put the cakes in paper bags instead of folding boxes and expect you to carry them home like that. I guess some places have not caught on to the high European customer service standards in packing, that ensure clients return to buy again and refer other people to buy from them.

I purchased a cake for my nephew and they went above and beyond making sure the cake was beautifully designed. If I could recommend anything I would get the chocolate torte. Soft Milo like sponge cake with a velvet filling. Will be purchasing more of this cake for future birthdays!

Such a great little bakery with quality products.My workplace is nearby and we regularly order from this bakery to cater morning teas. The sausage rolls are an absolute hit. I'm a fan of the cheese and spinach pastries (the pastry is really nice and has great crunchy texture - appears to be dusted with cornmeal?). All the cakes we've tried here are delicious, in particular, the hungarian cheesecake is a real winner.For bread, the sourdough is fantastic. Crunchy crust and great flavour. The other bread looks nice too but I don't know as I haven't gotten past the sourdough rolls.

Ordered and paid for a 9 inch birthday cake only to find out that they have made 7 inch cake, good thing i did not have much guests. this can be a disaster otherwise. for the cake it was okay, and i have had better ones in this price range. Should i be coming back to this shop? No i won't

Few weeks ago, me and my husband visited and we got bit hungry and we tried to buy some bread and buns as we had lunch appointment at somewhere that afternoon and the lady at the counter kept saying 'what do you want?' and my husband politely said 'one moment...' and try to pick one. And then she went, 'what do you want?' and I said 'Can you give us time to choose?' than she kept talking to my husband rudely as he tried to treat her nice. And my husband just picked one and he tried to pick some more for me and himself but as the lady kept saying hurry up, we ended up choosing 1 and paid for it. And the selection that day was bad as well no wonder other bakery was full and had lined up!! This shop need more selections and nice staffs~!!!

Very satisfied with their cakes. Every time I have a colleague's birthday, I buy cakes from them. I can tell they have good bakers. Of all the rolls, pies and cakes, they're all nicely done. They don't overproduce items daily so they're keeping the quality just fine.The great selection of birthday cakes are to die for! All of the cakes I bought from them always guarantee a good feedback from my colleagues. Great taste, the level of sweetness and cream are just right. Well done McIntosh's!Tips: It's better call up to pre-order what type/size of cakes you're after a day before you pick up. They only display a few type or rotate around once the other one is sold.

I have been a patron for the last 51 years.Initially when they were where the Current Barber shop is and following a fire relocated to current site .Very capable and responsive bakers of cakes,pastry and pies.They make delightful rolls and prices are reasonable.They make and decorate cakes to order and will write with icing any short message on the cake.Thus making staff at my workplace welcome and feel appreciatedYou will not be disappointed if you lob up early,when you have the greatest choice,as their croissants ,petit fours and pies get sold out fast.

Most people that review this place do not understand that 'client service' should not be placed over the quality of the bread and cakes. The people here might not speak amazing english but they are my favourite bakery over the past years and I highly recommend.

Order a Birthday cake and was called on the day and told they burnt the cake No remorse at all and no offer to bake a new cake. Will not every buy from them again.

Our favorite local bakery the ladies are so helpful and kind always happy to serve us.The bakers always cheerful.The breads are so good, love the sourdough and rolls.
