Where to even start!From the beginning, Rex and his team have been so accommodating, friendly and ridiculously easy to deal with. We ended up booking with Desire weddings last minute after we had a change of heart with what we wanted out of our photographer and videographer. We stumbled across the website and instantly fell in love with their work. As it was pretty last minute and a lot of our wedding budget was already allocated else where, Rex was amazing at helping us meet exactly what we wanted as well as helping us tailor the package to meet our budget. Did we mention that the wedding was in Wagga Wagga, NSW and they flew down from the Gold Coast?!On the day Rex and Gabriel just felt like old friends and wedding guests. They were so great with all the guests, warm and friendly and just slipped into the background, we hardly noticed they there capturing the day. They were so flexible with anything we asked for and were so engaged throughout the entire day. The weather wasn't ideal but Rex and Gabriel were so adaptable to the environment and still made sure we got the shots we wanted.Even now with the day being over, anything extra that we've thought of and enquired about, Rex has gone above and beyond for us. Rex and his team have worked so quickly to return all our photos and videos and we couldn't be happier with the result. The last minute change of heart was meant to be because we couldn't have asked for a better team to trust to capture our special day!

Rex and the team at Desire Weddings were incredible at photographing our day. They were professional, but also friendly. We are lucky to have so many beautiful shots to reminisce on our beautiful wedding day. My only regret was not getting the videography as well as the photography. Having known Rex, one of the Desire photographers, for a number of years, I knew that his team would be capable of everything we wanted or needed for our wedding.Not only giving us ideas for the wedding that would end up being crucial to the success on the day, but melding into our wedding crowd un-noticeably and all while creating some magical moments on both video and photo.10/10 would advise the use of the Desire team if you value quality , service and some smiling souls to help brighten your special day.

The way that Desire Weddings captured one of the most special days of our lives so far, honestly left us speechless. The photographs and videos were beyond what we could have ever possibly imagined or expected. We have so much gratitude in our hearts for the team for giving us a gift that will last us forever. The emotions of the day came through so beautifully in the images and the video footage/film. When we browse the photos or view the video, we truly feel as though we are there again, taken back to the time and place and emotions of that special day in our lives. We only revealed the news of our private elopement to our wider friends and family in May 2023. This means that Desire Weddings was part of a secret squad (for around 8 months!), not to release any news until our May 2023 celebration where we were to share this news and celebrate in person with all of our loved ones. We felt confident the whole way through that this would be something kept private until such times, and it was!The Desire Weddings team were also then with us on the day and night of our May 2023 celebration where we shared the news with our loved ones of our 2022 elopement. Yet again we experienced such ease, comfort, and joy as they moved around and captured moments in time.We were blown away not once, but twice when it came to viewing the photos and video from both days the Desire Weddings team were with us. We honestly will be forever grateful to them for giving us this lifetime gift. If you’re looking for an authentic, compassionate, professional, personable, and warm team who know what they are doing & allow you to feel comfortable and produce quality, then I’d be looking no further than Desire Weddings!

Engaging Desire Weddings to photograph, video and handle all our stationary needs for our wedding was the best decision we ever made. Leading up to our wedding, Rex provided a very personalised service by meeting with us for coffee to get a feel for our style, personality and vision. Rex and his team captured our day perfectly & the team felt like part of the wedding party by the end of the night. Not one moment was left uncaptured. Renae (graphic designer) worked magic to meet a few very late stationary visions that we had 2 weeks out from the wedding, all of which were completed in record time and hand delivered, after hours. To say that this business goes above and beyond is an understatement. We are so grateful for their creativity, service and kindness.
