Bannockburn Surgery

Nil complaints. Doctors always available. Have found doctors very friendly and never in a rush to get you out the door. They take the time to listen which gives me confidence. Nice to have more female doctors as well. Reception staff very helpful. Am very pleased with Bannockburn Surgery. Would recommend to anyone.

Great practice, have always found reception to be helpful and personable. Nurses great and very kind with both myself and my newborn. We have seen Dr Ahlberg since moving to the area and cannot recommend highly enough. Never been rushed, despite all my first time mum questions.

From Receptionist to Doctor, Everyone who works at this establishment is very professional, and easy to deal with. I'm sorry but some of the people that have given negative reviews here need to get some fresh air. Everyone at Bannockburn Surgery is prompt, friendly, and efficient in all that they do. Just wish that some people would remember the times that we are living in, and the fact that these are front line workers providing a constant, and much needed service. Thanks guys

Throughout my long term association with this surgery, I have found the staff mostly courteous and responsive. The doctors I see -(Doctors Henderson, Somerville and Bell) are very caring, good listeners with diverse qualifications, knowledge and experience. They always discuss investigations and treatments inclusively. I have great trust in the ethical commitment of all at ‘the surgery’ and appreciate that it is accessible through my health journey..

Watched on in disappointment this afternoon as they charged an elderly lady for a surgical mask after she inadvertently left hers in the car and her husband drove off, leaving her stranded without a mask.Charging an elderly citizen for a mask (which everywhere else gives out for free) is pretty poor form. You charge more than enough for a consult, the least you can do is cover the cost of a surgical mask for elderly citizens.Other than that, a good surgery, (admittedly with long wait times), with great doctors, so it is still worth the consult fees.

Completely awful! I went here with my mother for her broken leg and they didn’t help us! All they said is we should go to an ER but there our local doctor so they should know what to do! There kids area isn’t even close it’s just some books and a teddy bear! OUTSTANDINGLY AWFUL

Simply cannot believe, given the importance placed on Covid vaccines at the moment, that the ONLY notification to existing patients of a vaccination opportunity was a Facebook post ! No email or sms notification. Flat out one of the most unprofessional things I’ve ever seen.

I found the receptionist at this clinic to be rude & abrupt. Doesn't allow you to finish speaking, talks over the top of you & doesn't listen to what you say -there are ways to talk to people & the way she talks is very poor didn't even look at me while she was speaking. You're dealing with sick people & you're the first person they see when they enter the clinic, really poor! Sadly I was telling a friend about what had happened & she told me that she had a very similar experience with this very same woman.As for the Doctor, very kind & very thorough but unfortunately I won't be returning as I really didn't like the woman at the front desk. Needs to work on her people skills.

I cannot recommend. Male Dr here was negligent with his care of my family and I. He missed 2 serious health issues within our family that another practice and hospital picked up instantly. Refused to do simple blood tests when asked and he Does not listen or investigate thoroughly. The service staff here are 9 times out of 10 so uncaring and abrasive, I can only assume the workplace is a toxic one. As this surgery is an unhappy place to visit or call. Zero trust in this medical practice. My advice to others is to trust your instinct and get a second opinion. There are many other more professional and kinder practices out there.

I have been attending this surgery since its inception & have found them to be most professional & they are never in a hurry to get you out the door. Would highly recommend them to any one.
