Fernhills Clinic

Never saw a psychologist as the receptionist makes you sign something saying that you will forfeit $50 for any appt cancelled after 12:00 the day before. As I have morning sickness and it is not predictable this service was useless to me. Shabby decor, not enough parking.

The clinic is amazing.The are such wonderful dedicated staff no matter what clinic you attend or who you see.I've attended, Boronia, Fern tree Gully & Ringwood Clinics..Now I'm having phone or video chats with them monthly but if needed have attended weekly.I've been seeing them for over 10yrs now and they have literally saved my life.Thank you C..... I luv you & cannot thank you enough.

Have been seeing my psychologist here for the last couple of years.Reception and clinical staff have always been lovely and very accommodating.Would recommend.

Fantastic service. Margaret is wonderful with someone I know who has severe mental illness. He has been seeing her for years and says she is very helpful. I had my daughter see Jade Bloom and she was fantastic as she really listened to my daughters concerns and was compassionate. Whereas the last psychologist more or less said 'too bad, you have got no choice when she was unhappy with a situation'. Jade is wonderful. Highly recommend. Also with a Mental Health Care plan at the doctors you can get 6 sessions free. With a concession card we are not out of pocket. Where as other counsellors will take the 6 sessions as a contribution and I still had to pay $50-$100 per session so only went there once.

The psychologists are great, very friendly and are very easy to talk to. They are supportive and lovely, however the admin staff here are terrible, so rude and ignorant & completely dismissive of anything you have to say. It's such a shame that great psychs loose their patients due to their disrespectful & rude admin staff. Save ur time and deal with another clinic for better results & basic respect, which the admin staff seem to lack.

A family member is going here and it seems to be helping. Seeing Alex. Plenty of parking on site and just down the road. Receptionist helpful and friendly. Saw the cancellation thing another person was whining about. That's normal business practice.

Have been seeing Michelle Wong, she has been incredibly helpful and I can feel that I am getting the help I needed and will come out on top! Thank you Michelle.

The therapists are great and the facilities are very clean and tidy. Can be tricky to get appointments but worth the wait. Receptionists were not always understanding and did not feel approachable.

The counsellor, Janelle Tulloch, is rude and dismissive. Completely unprofessional.After refusing to identify herself, she hung up on me when I wouldn't divulge a relative's phone number to her.If I don't know who she is, why the hell would I give her someone else's number?

I had an unbelievably disappointing experience with one of their psychologists. This person assured me she could assist with a very common condition, only to turn around after two sessions and completely shock me by telling me I was suffering from something I'd never heard of and that she couldn't help me. This came after she had made extremely inappropriate remarks during our second (and ultimately final) consultation, which left me feeling offended, humiliated and defeated. I had planned to confront her about those remarks but was discharged before I could do so. I later asked for my money back because the service was not fit for purpose and was not what I'd believed I'd signed up for. No one would be happy to pay money in exchange for being left feeling offended, humiliated and defeated while receiving no benefit whatsoever for the condition for which they sought assistance. Unfortunately, the practitioner denied the request while completely ignoring what I'd explained to her about the thing called Australian Consumer Law. I went to my bank and was ultimately successful in obtaining chargebacks for both consultations. The practitioner had an opportunity to display some humility and empathy and refund my money willingly but chose not to. All in all, a disgusting and disturbing experience with Fernhills Clinic. I sincerely hope that this practitioner is a one-off and not reflective of the other people who work there.
