The photos and menu looked really good when I searched online, so I booked The Clare Castle for a small work dinner.It didn't quite live up to its online persona, unfortunately.The restaurant itself was nice"

The Clare Castle is a great venue, especially for lunch. The seafood spaghetti is just superb, and the wine list is excellent. Can't say enough about this Port Melbourne standard.

The Clare Castle
I was recommended by a friend to try out the Sunday roast , and I was no disappointed. Undoubtably one of the best and reasonably priced roasts I have ever had at a restaurant (and I have tried a lot). The dining area is lovely to sit in, or there is the more casual pub area . Friendly staff and an overall lovely dining experience. I will be going back and I will be 100% recommending to others .

Good value for money for today's inflationary prices. Food standard\quality a little hit & miss, but generally good across the 3x dishes we had.Would go back again and would definitely recommend if the manager was more friendly.

The Sunday roast here is legit awesome, has Yorkshire pudding as well and great price. It's a nice venue inside as well - definitely look forward to coming back

We enjoyed a delicious dinner here last night! The staff was very friendly and helpful with seating us, since the dining room was full, and bringing us our meals quickly. The food was DELICIOUS and I highly recommend the Chicken Parma. It had a very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere and I hope to be able to eat here again before my vacation is over.

We are semi regulars to Clare Castle, and just keep coming back because the experience is ALWAYS exceptional!I think we have worked our way through most of the menu, and have never had a single negative experience here.The staff are very friendly, the service is amazing, and the wine list is extensive.Highly recommend Clare Castle!

Attended to the first time for lunch and Sharon was great from start to finish... Very good starter with Bug Pieces pan fried... My Porthouse was Magnificent...best steak I have had all year... Finished with Basque Cheese Cake...Wine Menu is a good..Enjoy!

This would have to be one of the best Sunday roasts I’ve ever eaten…beef with Yorkshire pudding or pork with crackling… the Morton bay bug sliders are delicious for entree and the desserts are yum if you can fit one in!!! … the menu is extensive if you can look past the roast…
