Chris came to install a lock on my door and at the time mentioned he could supply an automatic gate closer as well. The install took under two hours but he charged for three. Less than 3 months later the automatic closer literally fell off, I saw it as we approached our gate. Chris has refused to repair it telling one of our residents it was a “budget” install. He also complained to that resident that he lost money on my install even though he charged above the original quote. Beware the dodgy tradie from an unregulated industryUPDATE: not registered with Locksmiths Guild of Australia and actually told Fair Trading that the door gloser he installed is not suitable for the job. DODGY UNTRUSTWORTHY SUBSTANDARD WORK
