Alana is fabulous hairdresser. Always makes us welcome. Continues to look for ways to learn new ideas. Listens to what is wanted and makes it happen as well as making suggestions to help decision making. Gold! wanted something different that suited me and so happy with the end result they are fabulous particularly in sunlight * .

I visited the salon last Saturday (21/01/2023) I went in for a wash, cut and blow dry. Very happy with my services and treatment, staff were professional and friendly. They were able to recommend some options to improve the health of my hair. I will definitely be back, I already have my next appointment booked.

Ive been coming to Alana at Amethyst for a very long time and she does a phenomenal job every time. But this review is for Mikena who looked after me during my most recent vist. She was amazing super friendly, very gentle and attentive. Bonus is she gives a great scalp massage too. Thank you very much Mikena

When I started at amethyst about 12 months ago my hair was extremely damaged and thin from excessive bleaching.The Amethyst team really helped me grow out my hair to the healthiest it has been in years and it looks better than it ever has!Could not recommend this salon more! Alana, Zahli and Kena are all amazing and super welcoming.

I moved to Townsville last year and I am still trying to find my go to places for beauty appointments. This was my first time at Amethyst and safe to say I have now found my go to for hair. Absolutely awesome service, everyone is so lovely and try to make you as comfortable as possible. Also very happy with the results, I can’t believe how much they transformed my hair in one appointment! Definitely recommend!

Lovely salon and staff! I have very curly hair and it can be hard to find a stylist who can cut it and have it lay properly the next day. Well no complaints here! She took off just the right amount, my hair feels healthy again, and it looks just the way I want it to! Definitely recommend giving Amethyst Hair Lounge a try!
