Wow! This is the best Italian food we've had in Australia and was not expecting it from this place in McLaren Vale. The staff are very kind and the service was great. We had mussles which were cooked in an amazing tomato sauce that we couldn't get enough of then the 2 pasta dishes were similarly delectable which was followed by the fish of the day which was beautifully cooked and came with very fresh and well cooled/seasoned greens. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Really enjoyed this Venue, especially the food which was delicious.. The Friendly staff made for an enjoyable experience.. Enjoyed the Photographic and Painting pieces on the walls, which were scattered throughout the Restaurant, with many inside and outside options to dine. Will go back here for sure

Another first time visit and oh wow amazing. Why you ask?Staff so friendly.Food was to die for.Home made pasta.Very nice homey comfortable decor.Great local wine selection including their own. A hidden gem in the McLaren Vale. It was busy and it was Winter, so I would book.

The price was a little more than I'd usually pay for lunch ($29 - $39 for a main) but we're all so glad we chose here. The pasta was fresh and the sauces were all exceptional. Highly recommend the saffron duck and the gnocchi- absolutely gorgeous dishes and decent portions too

If, like Maggie Beer, the only cuisine you couldnt do without was Italian then you must go to Vasarellis. You dont get over 300 google reviews with a 4.7 ave unless you are good. And this place is better than good. Charming old restored residence with high ceiings and polished boards. Glorious menu. Extensive wine list. Cheery friendly happy helpful staff. Did I mention the food. Skip breakfast & make a booking today.

Stopped by for lunch it was an enjoyable lunchWas greeted by a super sweet waitress who made our lunch lovely.We ordered: garlic bread, salmon carpaccio, fish of the day, a duck pasta and a crab pasta (can’t remember the exact name of the dishes).Throughly enjoyed the duck pasta, would recommend that dish. Everything else was quite good too but the salmon carpaccio was a little underwhelming.Service was amazing and accommodating. The garlic bread came with 3 pieces but we asked for 4 and they catered it for us.Definitely worth a try and would recommend to friends ☺️

All the wineries seemed all booked out during the long weekend and we had to find this place for a bite. Just ordered two dishes to share paired with Pinot Grigio. The seasoning were fantastic however one or two the mussels were not as fresh as we thought they should be. Services are warm and welcoming. In a nutshell, a nice place to try authentic Italian cuisine. My personal rating would be 4.4.
