Was quoted a $250 minimum callout fee. The guy I spoke with seemed more interested in selling a whole new unit than fixing my existing one. With a little googling I was able to fix the issue myself for $50.EDIT: Response to the owner. False. I did not call after hours. I called on a week day between 9am and 5pm. I was not told the $250 was an afterhours call out fee. I was told it was the minimum callout fee. My unit is most definitely not 29 years old and you did not recommend" a new unit. I was not given an option to repair or replace. I asked "can't you fix it" and was told "no"."

The work that was done by the owner of this company was both done professionally and in an amazing time frame. He was very honest and upfront with what was required of my job I would recommend him for the replacement or repair of your garage doors.

Just like to acknowledge Dean and the team for their service and knowledge.We have used Remotes R Us for all our homes over the last 13 years and always had brilliant service and product support from the team.I personally think that their call out service is exceptional with Dean himself often making the call.I think my daughters would both acknowledge the same as they have needed urgent help when us parents were away :)Its a very competitive market but my advice is if you want it done right get someone who thoroughly knows the trade and uses equipment they can back.

This company is great to deal with. Nothing is too much trouble and the technician was very knowledgeable. I have used this company on a few occasions and would recommend them to anyone that needs assistance with their garage doors/remotes.

Absolutely terrible service - in it to sell you a new unit only! A total scam business, that don't live up to their website promises.

Stay away. I paid $65 on Thursday morning for a bee remote that should open our garage doors (2 existing doors). The remote only works for one door and the person who fixed it doesn’t want to come back and fix it OR refund the money / take the partially working remote back.His response to me over the phone was “too bad if it doesn’t work, I came and delivered the service”. And then he hung up. You weren’t paid for a service, you were paid for a product (programmed remote that opens the door). The product doesn’t work. As a customer we don’t care if it takes you 10 minute or 1 hour, that is about your efficiency.Unfortunately I have no option but to go to Office of Fair Trading for assistance to get my money back.Keep well away.

My experiences with Dean from Remotes-R-Us have been completely positive. Dean has fitted garage door openers for us over a period of 10 years, and I have always found him to provide great installation and back-up service. He recently adjusted a door opener for me that he had installed some years ago, and would not charge me for his travel and service time. In my experience, that does not happen often.Completely happy with Dean's service, and would recommend him to you.

Great customer service. Difficult job with very old gate they went above & beyond to find parts & avoid expensive replacement. Would highly recommend!
