Gaffney's Bakery
Not been here in several years, but the place has significantly grown in size and offering. Still a country bakery with excellent pastry, the Shiraz and Beef pie is especially good - but the Chicken Parma pie was totally worth exploring.Some delicious sweet treats for those with a sweet tooth too.

Large bakery on the Main Street of Heathcote. This cafe has many tables and a lounge area to sit and eat. They are famous for their pies of which there are many varieties. I had a beef and mushroom pie and a beef curry pie and both were scrumptious. They have a very efficient queueing and ordering system with coffees being made and picked up at a separate counter. The sweet pastries are delightful too and staff are friendly and efficient.

I only come here for the excellent pies although there is a lot more on offer. My favourites are the triple chilli and the chunky pepper beef. My son’s favourite is the chicken schnitzel pie. They are all the deeper dish size not the touristy rip off version. The place is well known so it is busy but the queues move quickly and the staff are efficient

Incredible!!! I had a slow cooked pie and mini sausage rolls. So so good. It's a shame i live in qld or I would be back tomorrow.

Popular Cafe in the centre of town. Decent size Cafe. Got a couple of different areas (sweet section, pies and drinks). Had friendly, cheerful service when placing my order. Good coffee. Worthwhile stop. Good variety of sweet and savoury items.

We had a great time at this bakery. The pastries were delicious, and the coffee was good. The staff members were friendly, especially Grace, who helped us to find the perfect choice. The space is ample and there are plenty of tables and seats.

Great coffee, great food.Busy and noisy place. Great place for a chat and come together but not great if you want to calm down relax and enjoy your coffee.What bothered me the most is that the girl who was making coffee on Saturday was incredible miserable and rude. No smile, no hello, no you are welcome, no have great day no thank you when I wished a great day or said thank you, mean and judging looks. With her attitude she shouldn’t be the first face to see when I walk in actually not at all.2 stars down for customer service

Upon entering the countryside bakery store, you will immediately notice the vast array of desserts on display to your left, accompanied by a prominent sign indicating that there is no service area. As you continue to explore, you will come across an impressive selection of family pies, pastries, and a hot pies area where you can place your order.During my visit, I was delighted to discover a triple chilli beef pie that I had never seen before. The staff were very friendly and even warned me about the spiciness level of the pie, knowing that it might be too hot for some. However, as a lover of California Reaper chillies, I found it to be amazing and packed with a satisfying kick. In addition to the pie, I also enjoyed the homemade tomato sauce which was bursting with flavour. The carrot cake was moist and delectable, although I personally prefer it without icing.
