ibis Hotel Glen Waverley

Ibis Glen Waverley is a very good priced option for accommodation. Service is very friendly, rooms are a bit smaller than usual but are functional and clean. Car parking was included if you were an Accor member where the Novotel next door cost me $25 a day. Overall, it was a very good 3 night stay.

Never ever ever again! Stayed last Saturday for a night. Took sooo long to check in. Then wanted a $100 deposit that was refundable the next morning on checkout. WHAT FOR? MIDNIGHT…..alarms going off. My husband and I wondering what’s going on. I call reception and no answer. Answered after 4 th time ringing to be told please come downstairs in the lobby as this was a fire alarm. I then heard the fire brigade. We finished gathering our things and the alarm stopped. We wondered what to do, so I called downstairs to be told it’s our choice whether to come down or not as the alarm went off by someone in the building smoking.NEXT MORNING…told them we didn’t sleep and asked for a free coffee or breakfast or something, but no…nothing. AND told manager not available. To top it off…the keys for the room and car park weren’t working properly. AND twice people got into the lift complaining about their keys not working.Terrible place. Rooms very very small and no hand towels. Never again.

They went above and beyond to make me feel at home and were always available to assist with any requests I had. Their exceptional service made my transition to a new city much smoother, and I cannot thank them enough.I would also like to express my appreciation for the housekeeping staff, Rashid and Lucy. They consistently kept my room clean and tidy, making it a pleasure to come back to after a long day of house hunting. Their attention to detail and excellent service were remarkable, and I am grateful for their hard work. Also I can't forget Nethani and her hard work in the kitchen areaOverall, my stay at the Ibis Glen Waverley Hotel was fantastic. The combination of great staff, comfortable rooms, and a convenient location made it the perfect temporary home during my search for a new residence. Adequate staffing during my stay. However, more effort could be put into preparing the rooms prior to check in as there was no more soap left in the dispenser and the fridge was not working. Both issues were rectified promptly though!

We have buffet breakfast, and they have a great variety to eat. Always full when we leave. It is a great place

Good hotel in Glen Waverley. Stayed here for 3 weeks in May'23 and had nothing to complain about. Very friendly staff. Just walking distance to the area center and train station makes it convenient for travel.

Poor and not recommended!Lifts does not work with sensor not reading the room access card. Towels are not prepared and smells like mould. Breakfast except for the breads, others are just okay. Too many things needs to be improved!

I recently stayed at Ibis Glen Waverley and overall, I had a great experience. The location was convenient for my needs, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and had all the amenities I needed for my stay. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of options and was tasty. My only suggestion for improvement would be to update some of the decor and furnishings in the rooms to give them a more modern feel. However, this did not impact my overall enjoyment of my stay. I would definitely consider staying at Ibis Glen Waverley again in the future.

Moved from Singapore to Australia, and as I was planning to rent a house in that Glen Waverley, we have booked a room for 1 week. The entry experience to the room wasn't good as it wasn't clean, hair was all around and on the bed as well. Dust every where in a level which I can say u could see particles on the air. The Aircon system not that efficient to keep the room warm. The reception employee not friendly and welcoming (except 1 person). The experience with the resturant quality (for dinner) wasn't good at all.

Perfect location with quick access to freeways to the city and eastern suburbs. Excellent secure on-site parking. Quality of service at reception was highly variable from day to day. There was no housekeeping on the Sunday due to shortage of staff. Room cleanliness was about 3-star with significant amounts of dust build-up on some horizontal surfaces.
