Back to Daylesford for my birthday celebration, and, of course, getting a massage and facial at Soma Massage is a must!We booked their pamper package and upgraded to their new hydra facial, and it was such a pleasant experience! The facial steamer and the dermabrasion machine did a really great job. I can feel my skin glow.My partner and I really enjoy their massage; it releases our tiredness, which we needed a lot. Highly recommend!

I don’t know how this business is getting all these great reviews but my husband and I had the WORST experience ever at this place. We booked a couple’s 90 minute massage and facial and walked out with - literally - a sore and strained back. My husband couldn’t walk properly for days after!To start with the couples massage room was small and had a very bad, sour smell to it. When we entered the room to get changed, there was no ambient lighting or relaxing music like you would find at other massage places that are priced similarly, instead all we heard were the chitter chatter between staff members. Red flag number 1.Then the massage started and it was painful as hell. No one asked us if the pressure was ok, they started our really rough. I did not feel like our masseuse were properly trained. They had no idea what they were doing and we could constantly hear them whispering to one another throughout the entire 90 minutes, and feet were constantly shuffling along the floor. When we mentioned that the pressure was too hard, they became gentler for a good 5 minutes and it was back to being painful again. Then came the facial. They lathered our faces with this really oily soapy liquid and some of it naturally went into my nostrils. In addition to that, for the entire duration of the facial, a machine was constantly spirting hot steam onto my face. I felt like I was suffocating.Halfway through the 90 minutes I was praying so hard that it would end soon.The whole experience at Soma was just off. Tense, non relaxing, painful, walking out with sore backs and my husband not being able to walk properly for almost a week (they twisted something in his back). It was everything a massage place shouldn’t be known for!We wasted almost $400 at this place, and would never return back nor would be recommend this place to anyone else unless you want the same experience as us.Never again!

Wasn’t the worst but also wasn’t the greatest. They charge premium price since it’s close to expensive massage retreats in the area so I was expecting a high standard. My Partners masseuse was inexperienced and didn’t really provide a massage that matched the price.

Calming music, polite and friendly staff, and a world of relaxation. It doesn't get any better than this. Thank you to the team at Soma for the facial and foot massage. Highly recommended to anyone in the area!

I really enjoyed how we were treated. Adeline and Chloe did such a beautiful job. We had a 2-hour pamper package, which consisted of a foot spa, a facial, and a very comforting massage.I will definitely recommend Soma Massage if you are heading to Daylesford for your holiday.

As we booked last minute for a couple massage it took a while to find a place that wasn't booked out.Our expectations were low but omg what a gem compared to the price we paid. Value for money.The ladies were nice and the massage I had was simply relaxing and good. She was very careful with my frozen shoulder and I had magically more movement after. Way better than my physio. As I said a gem.Recommend.My hubby loved it too and he also had some hot stone which he really enjoyed.Next time we go we will book here again because the massages were fantastic and very affordable.

Came here for a 2 hour couple's massage. Was absolutely excellent, I would highly recommend the pamper package. We got a 60 min massage 45min facial and a 15min foot scrub. Friendly staff and a cosy relaxing interior, all for an excellent price!
