Attended this class on Sunday as always wanted to learn more about the meaning of the paintings, symbols and history. Sammy's class did not disappoint.Being British I knew that my ancestors had carried out atrocious acts but this is not taught in English educational systems and to be honest I only knew the briefest of information.I found out so much, and was made to feel extremely welcome.I welcomed Sammy's story and recommend for others to attend.I also came away with a pretty good painting too telling my story. Thank you Sammy x

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed painting with Sammy. Her wealth of knowledge is amazing and she is very patient and we absolutely love the fact that we were painting and learning Aboriginal art and history through storytime. My kids (6 and 8yo) then had their art class with Sammy and they couldn't stop raving about their experiences in the car. The spread that came with the painting class is a bonus! I highly recommend giving Sammy's classes a try. You will not regret!

Sammy provided such a welcoming, fun, relaxing and creative atmosphere in her studio. Learning the stories was enlightening and creating the art piece was a mindful and rejuvenating process. Sammy was a brilliant teacher and there was much laughter that evening. I had a great experience and I’m looking forward to returning and creating another piece.

Such a great night! Sammy shared the traditional story which really helped to ‘set the scene’ for the painting. Everyone’s paintings were all unique in their own way. Sammy was so engaging and helpful throughout. It was a really fun night out.
