Wyalkatchem Hotel
Beautiful little town and a cosy pub, but I paid $95 to stay in a trailer. The bed was uncomfortable and the plumbing was loud. There was a kettle and complementary tea and coffee, but without bringing in your own water the kettle is somewhat superfluous. Food at the pub was good. The place has a nice welcoming environment where everyone knows everyone. Would recommend the pub, but definitely do not rent the units!

One toilet for entire floor. Beds uncomfortable. Loud humming all night and not even a bed side table lamp. Rooms are very average but staff are friendly and food was nice

Rang 13/2/2022 looking for 2 motel style rooms, very friendly girl answered the phone and yes 2 are available, also told me their hours for the pub and kitchen. Arrived a couple of hours later and walked to be greeted by the same friendly girl, sorted our rooms out and went back for a drink and ordered tea from a older lady who was the cook also very friendly, the meals arrived and certainly no complaints from either of us. The whole place was clean and tidy, the rooms although old were spotless with a very comfortable bed and good hot shower.

Good atmosphere, the owners nice, food was nice it took a bit long. Such a shame about the terrible attitude of the lady serving meals in the kitchen. A smile wouldn't hurt

Comfy cosy unit with great shower in ensuite. We expected a toaster and microwave considering they don't serve breakfast. No alternatives unless you drive to a Roadhouse. Tea/Coffee but no T-sp or cutlery at all. Workers early shower can be disrupting if you want a lying. Otherwise friendly and clean. T bone delish. Grilled fish more like streamed, did not like mixed herbs on it and basic tasteless frozen veg.
