Bought a vintage Japanese Raven SG Bass after seeing it on Reverb. Bit dissapointed on the extent of the cracked finish (one of the hazards of buying online) but the they did include free shipping to Melbourne. Bass came set up with new strings and played fine.

Was keen to see the shop when visiting hobart and it didn't disappoint. The guitars i played were beautifully set up and testing through the silverface bassman was a treat too.Simon and his staff were super friendly and helpful, can't recommend the place enough

Simon is an absolute guru of MIJ and CIJ instruments, with a business built on his incomparable customer service and impeccable eye for quality. The staff at Collins St (Jamie in particular!) are equally kind and inviting with a wonderful eye for detail. Long live Topshelf!

They only had one option for nylon guitar strings which were quite expensive and not even great strings.
