Ingliston Gorge/Sloss Gully Walk Car Park

The walk is track 5 of the Werribee Gorge State Park. Being a Grade 3, it’s not terribly challenging and can be completed in under 2 1/2hrs at a leisurely pace. It is however very rewarding, offering diverse landscape of grassy gullies, rocky hill climb up to Falcon’s lookout, and creek crossings - which were dry at the time of this posting (July 2022). Kangaroos and Wallabies are readily spotted along the way, and bird calls are plentiful.The track is relatively well marked, however a GPS and map is recommended as sections along the creek bed are not immediately obvious. Trekking poles also come in handy to help along slippery sections and climbing in and out of the many creek crossingsSuggest a clockwise route starting at Sloss Gully.

Nice 3Km trail with totally dried creek (at least for me) in winter. This is bit isolated and not much traffic. A bit hard since multiple ups and downs in the root. One lookout and multiple creek crossing.
