Beautiful property. Shocking service.

I’m still in shock by my terrible experience at Tallowood Park. The goal posts were constantly being moved with no communication skills in iteration of what expectations of agistees were. Melinda and Rex have minimal care for or understanding of the horses, and use this (beautiful) property as a purely money grabbing opportunity. Agistees were not allowed to help each other in the care of their horses as they see it as a missed opportunity to cash in on exorbitant feeding fees. There is no feed in the paddocks and manure was not removed. My horse and her paddock mate were separated because of inconvenience in feeding. Both father and daughter (Melinda and Rex) have no communication skills and yelled at me and any friends I had with me on multiple occasions. Their behaviour is incredibly controlling and entitled with no emotional intelligence or compassion for the horses they are homing. I am grateful to have moved my horse and would strongly caution anyone looking to move horses here. The worst run business I have ever encountered and by far worst experience with wanna be horse-people I have ever had.
