Love this place - its definitely going to be an awesome place to visit when all the new improvements are complete. It wont be our little secret hideaway for long. Fabulous people and lovely little community.

Notice to future customers ! ⚠️We found this caravan park on the internet, close to our job, we wanted to go and live there for a few months. We booked for a week as an advisor at the reception to get a better price, the campsite is ideal for fishermen. After two days at the campsite, we had to leave, you will find sand flie"

5 stars for the Molongle Creek Caravan Park. The staff and service were outstanding. Everyone was very friendly and made our short stay very enjoyable. They even gave us a free mudcrab on check in. !! The park has easy access to the boat ramp.We will definitely be back.

This is the worst Caravan Park we’ve been in on our east coast trip. A dusty, barren filthy place. Dead bat on the ground which had been there a while. Ugly camp sites. Powered sites had the grey water spill straight out onto the ground. No hot water in the camp kitchen; tap welded shut. Mildly warm water in the showers. They have a lot of nerve charging $30/night for unpowered.

Was told 35 so drove down. Wasn't asked how many people. Charged 45. Kids were 5 each. Didn't think much of it but just thought it was steep when it was one night arrived at 5pm and left at 8:30am and we are fully self contained van.Anyway owners were nice, park looks like it has allot of new stuff and ideas being put into place or recently done.My biggest issue was the midges.. one of worst places I seen them the whole way up to top of qld. Got mauled being outside for just 5 minutes. If I knew it was 45 just to sleep and get done over by insects where U couldn't go outside, I would have stayed where I was down the road at the free camp.

To all Europeans: CAMPING TO FLEE ⚠️We are two backpackers travelling by rooftent and living in caravan parks. So we decided to take a week of camping in Gumlu. In two nights, we were bitten by gnats that came in through the mosquito net of the tent. Our bodies were covered in pimples within 48 hours. So we decided to leave and ask the campsite for a refund for the last 5 nights and they wouldn't listen. They told us that it was not their problem to be sick and have pimples all over your body". The owners are nasty

This is a very popular place for keen fisho's to base their cape upstart fishing adventures. Certainly the park does it's best in friendliness and practicality to cater for these needs. However it must be said that it's not the nicest natural environment. It's typically very dry with hordes of sandflies if the wind backs off.
