Doug is knowledgeable,helpful and very moderate in his charges;in fact if possible he sometimes tries to help you out on the phone without charge!!

Doug was fantastic and saved us from having a whole load of food getting spoiled.Around midnight our fridge-freezer alarm sounded due to a malfunction and temperature not being cold enough. I tried a few places in the North Sydney and Northern Beaches area, no one was available till next week - my food would have all been spoilt by then.I phoned Doug at 10:30am, who was extremely helpful and stepped me through a number of things to check over the phone to try identify the fault, along with packing items into the tub and covering with bags of ice and towels to keep them from spoiling in the short term.We agreed to leave the fridge-freezer running for 2-3 hours and that I should phone back after lunch to give him an update on if it was cooling down or not. In-fact Doug phoned me up about 1pm to check in. The fridge still wasn’t cooling, so Doug offered to come out right then if I wanted (which I did).Doug arrived around 2pm, a really friendly chap, knowledgeable and has lived in the area and been running a family business of fridge-freezer sales and repairs since 1969. Doug checked out the fridge freezer, tested things, removed some panels to do more tests and found fault with one of the fans.Doug then went through task of replacing it there and then with a spare part he had (amongst many spare parts he brought with him) and had the fridge freezer back up and running by around 3.30pm.Waiting for the temperature in it to drop down to just below freezing before starting to restock the still well-frozen foods back into it, and then restock the fridge a bit later once it has chilled further too.Thank you Doug for a great customer experience and successful outcome.
