My ideal gym is one that is welcoming and supportive, with people that push you, but still ensure you have fun. This gym ticks all those boxes and more.Canberra Fitness Centre has a community gym feel, where everyone is there to workout, do their best, stay healthy and support each other, while continuously laughing and having fun!The trainers (and members) are all welcoming and ensure you don't injure yourself by focusing on form and activating the right muscles.If you do rock up to a class with an injury, the trainers are more than happy to adjust the program to fit your needs, so you don't miss out.CFC is a gym I highly recommend!

I have been a member of the Canberra Fitness Centre for almost a year and I have never found a more welcoming and genuinely caring fitness environment.With all classes taken by qualified personal trainers I feel secure that I am using the right technique minimising my chance of injury. When I have had any issues they have never hesitated in providing me with exercise options.Class sizes are small meaning you get personal attention and no two classes are ever the same. Sorry Les Mills, but creativity and variety is not your strong point.I will keep returning and highly encourage anyone else to give it a go.

The Bump It Up pregnancy classes are the ONLY exercise I’ve ever enjoyed (pregnant or not!). It’s so much fun, it’s a joy to move my body. Jacqui and her team are experts in exercise during and after pregnancy so I felt really safe. Even when it became painful to walk and move during my third pregnancy, Jacqui made sure I was strengthening the muscles that would help and coaching me to move in a way that wouldn’t make my pain worse.Birth is a marathon and I’ve had the strength and endurance to birth all three of my babies into water thanks, in part, to this super fun exercise class.Now, postnatally, I’m able to rebuild my core strength and glutes again while having lots of fun. And I can bring my baby or older kids along if I need to (but let’s be honest, I like my time alone!)

I cannot recommend Canberra Fitness Centre (& Bump It Up) enough! I started early on in my pregnancy and felt completely safe and comfortable attending the classes. Jacqui and her team are highly knowledgeable in pregnancy and postnatal exercise. Being postnatal now I love that I can bring my bub along to the classes and have them next to me and not have to worry about care, creche, etc. Jacqui has created an amazing and supportive gym environment!

I felt so welcome at Canberra Fitness Centre! Started their prenatal classes from around 13 weeks till the end of my pregnancy. Jacqui and the other instructors are super friendly and knowledgeable. I went in wanting to know how to keep active while pregnant in a fun and safe way - which is what the classes offer. A lovely bonus was the friends I made! I'm now attending the postnatal classes which are helpful and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Great classes at CFC. The trainers deliver their programs in a different way each week, so there’s no chance of getting bored. They know when to give you that little extra push.Everyone that goes to CFC is supportive & encouraging of each other.I recommend CFC as a great place to train.

Fantastic facility with wonderful trainers who are caring, supportive and motivational. Jacqui is professional but fun and so knowledgeable. I'm so glad I found Canberra Fitness Centre/Bump It Up to support me getting back into exercising again, just wish I had of found them sooner!

Jacqui and the team are phenomenal - I felt welcome from the start in a supportive, friendly and fun environment. Joining as a pregnant woman, I found myself not only strengthening my body and learning so much about pre and post natal exercise, but also part of a community of wonderful people. Couldn’t recommend CFC more.

Canberra Fitness Centre
Started working out at CFC after a long time away from training. Nerves were quickly replaced through fun and supportive workouts. Great trainers and fantastic people who attend the classes. No judgement, no egos, no waiting for equipment, just a wonderful training environment.
