Arrived really late (7:30pm) but was still able to talk to the owner and check in. We maintained and easy to find. There were a lot of bugs in the bathroom, which is expected with Australia's heat. I stayed in a tent and encounted a lot of ants, though do prefer these over other critters. York was really nice to explore with easy parking and only a short drive from the caravan park. I went in November, Tuesday to Thursday. If I was to go again I would go on the weekend to visit the icecream factory and more shops that were not open during the week.

good location, needs water on what was the grassed areas this would cut down the dust and give it better optics. Arrived Thursday and ablutions not tied up until Saturday. Friendly owners but appear to be struggling with the general maintenance and appearance.

What a great place wether you one night or more. 5 min drive to the shops pubs and if you need a lift to pub so you don't drink and drive $10 keeps you safe just ask at reception .Thay have a family bus you can stay in $150 per night its fantastic. Drive through sites camp kitching out side bbq. Manager is a great lady she will help you if she can. We have booked to go back for a few days. Very relaxing place to recharge your battaries. And very pet friedly. And in winter you can use a fire pit what more could you want.

Lovely Caretaker, but the park itself could do with a huge tidy up. While we were there, the facilities/abulution block was not cleaned every day and the laundry was not cleaned at all. Thankfully we had our own facilities. No dump point it was at the local Free Camp. But, the size of the sites were big.

Sites large and level. Plenty of shade.Ablutions old but clean. Receptionist/manager friendly .Fire drums provided.

Nice little park with drive through sites, clean ablutions and in a wonderful little town of York. Don't need to take groceries, big IGA, butcher and fresh produce all available, as well as great pub food and lovely little cafes

I should have asked to view our site before accepting, as I would have refused. Even though we had booked ahead we were in the boondocks amongst permanent residents. There seemed to be other sites empty at the time. York is a beautiful town.

A rustic little quiet park in a bush setting. Ablutions are older style but great reliable hot water showers and a popular gathering space provided under shade. A number of full time residents living in the park. Reasonable rates. We enjoyed our time in York as there’s plenty to see and do for three or four days.

This caravan park is fantastic, the manger Darlene is amazing and one of the most helpful and hard working people I have met. The camp kitchen has everything that any travellers need to make camping easier including a dishwasher, TV, air conditioning, fridge etc. showers, toilets and laundry are clean and readily available to campers. Camping sites have all of the usual including easy access electrical, water and grey water disposal. I would recommend this park for anyone traveling with dogs as it is very dog friendly, we ended up extending our stay by another three days.
