Have been using Brad's services for over ten years; I've never had any problems. I bought my first car through him (an imported Toyota Supra). I've bought parts and have had services etc carried out. Long story short his services are top notch.Latest example was my mate bought an SSV ute from him that unfortunately had a diff failure within a few months of ownership, he had it repaired under warranty seamlessly with minimal hassles.Would recommend Toy Shop to anyone looking for a quality used vehicle.

EDITED AFTER THE PATHETIC REPLY FROM THE OWNER LAST YEAR: I definately wouldn't recommend buying from here. The transfer case died in my car 2 months after ownership due to a lack of oil and zero abuse. I 100% look after my cars meticulously. The engine also never had any oil in it upon delivery. The pathetic excuse I got was that an Evo has the oil stored in the oil cooler and not the sump? What sort of car dealer talks so much garbage. So much for buying a 'fully serviced' car. The so called comprehensive warranty which was provided didn't want to know about it at all, and neither did Brad. He is all nice when you are buying a car, then becomes a very, very angry and uncooperative person when you confront him with problems associated with the vehicle. Just bought a Landcruiser 200 series GXL 2010 and couldn’t be happier as worked out cheaper even with freight then buying locallly with higher klm’s. Passed rego inspection with flying colours as well so all good.

I can see what the others are saying. This guy is a joke. A compulsive liar, rude and doesn't know what he is talking about when it comes to cars. I wouldn't buy pack of gum off him let alone a vehicle. Be warned people.

We picked up our 200 Series today from Brad and the boys. Brad not only sells you a vehicle, but he ensures your kept in the loop and are happy throughout the whole process.Brad went above and beyond to ensure the extras we wanted were added to perfection and the car was fully detailed and immaculate on pick up. He took the time to know us and not rush us out the door. His customer service and pride in his work is next to none.

We purchased two Mitsubishi Evo 6's from the Toy Shop on the 05/06/2013. The cars were in very poor condition. Window regulators seized with rust, lower control arm bushes torn, differential support bushes torn, wheel bearings that had excessive free play and one of the cars had a buckled wheel etc. With the help of consumer affairs we were able to get some of the money back off them, but it was still a massive inconvenience. We also did a Japanese odo check on both the cars, and it indicated both had their odometers wound back a significant amount. I would highly recommend doing an odo check when purchasing a car from these guys as they obviously source their cars poorly.The whole experience was horrible, and I would tell anyone that were considering to buy a car from these guys to look elsewhere.UPDATE: 19/04/2018The owner, Brad, just called me. He told me I must remove my review as it is inaccurate because the ABN that we purchased the vehicles from no longer exists. Irrespective of ABN numbers, I have an invoice here from THE TOY SHOP for 2 x Mitsubishi Evo VI's and Brad Host was the owner/director. Whilst it may be a different ABN it is the same trading name.Brad also informed me that in 24 hours, if the review is not removed he will be taking legal action and that his lawyer cost $10,000 a day... This sums up my experience with Brad in a nutshell. He also pointed out that my business has online reviews, and that I wouldn't want any negative feedback. Whether that was a threat or not, I don't really know, but it was a weird thing to say during our 28 minute conversation. Brad also offered to leave a 5 star google review on my business in the hope of me removing this review. I declined and informed him I don't want fake review on my business's page. Brad's closing line was, I'm coming for you! See you in court!" I'm sorry I every gave this guy one dollar of my hard earned.UPDATE:Just received a facebook message from Brad.StevenAs per our telephone conversation today

Had dealings with Brad and the Toyshop for over 8 years and will continue to go there to buy. He is not like any other dealer. Goes above and beyond for his clients and provides immaculate cars with full service history. Nothing is hidden and even tells me the history prior to purchase. Not sure what these other guys are on about as his cars are faultless.

Ive dealt with Brad for some 20 Years and have had a great business relationship with him. Brad has been a highly recognised car dealer in Newcastle for over 20 years and has sold my business and family at least 6 cars in the 20 year peroid, including a Toyota Supra twin Turbo, an Mitsubishi Evolution 8 , A Nissan R34 Syline and a Porsche 996 , all Jap imports .Recently we purchased a 200 series landcruiser that was a fantastic buy and a great vehicle from The ToyShop AutomotiveI have absolutley no complaints, as all of the cars have been brilliant, very good quality and immaculate upon purchase and Brad aftersales service has been second to noneGreat work Brad, your a Champion , Thanks The ToyShop !!

This company is one to avoid. The owner rips customers off, doesnt address legitimate complaints and then runs from any accountability. Be warned.
