Food tasted ok…But more like street food from a food van…Overly priced and also found a long piece of persons hair in the food… Maybe they should wear hair nets to improve the hygiene

Best Snitz i have ever had, Hubby had The Haiwaain, I had the Bacon...lots of variations to choose from. Snitz were thick and delicious, Lovely clean shop, staff very friendly and helpful highly recommend, even if it means taking a detour its well worth it....

It may not be flash for dining in and just appear to be a run of the mill takeaway fry store, but there is a menu full of schnitty goodness here to be discovered. Real creative combos I would never have imagined, but now will be the stuff of dreams. This is a diamond in the rough of Cessnock.

The food tastes great but lacks in quantity since they relocated from Cessnock.$20 for a schnitzel and chips and I'm still hungry.

My first visit. I only ordered a schnitzel burger meal for my son. It was below average. He liked the chips but the burger not so much . Very thin/small overcooked chicken.

UPDATE - Since moving to Kurri Kurri I have yet to have an experience similar to cessnock. I have added a photo to my review of my latest and last purchase. Almost 1/4 the size for what we used to get, and ran out of snitzel which is fine and substituted some steak in there. But when you get 1/4 of what you paid for and it's not what you originally wanted and we spend $75 on a few meals that no one was satisfied with, it leaves a sour taste in your mouth.I was happy to see snitzerella moving closer for me, but I really miss what it was in Cessnock.Even the photos I have attached to this review speak for themselves.----- Cessnock store review below -----If you're looking for schnitzel, look no further! Loaded and ready to go. One of the greatest bang for buck in Cessnock! A meal will probably last you dinner and lunch for the next day if you're keen

My order wasn't ready and had to wait for half a meal plus hubby's is burnt. My son's was good though and did give me a free slice so might give them one more chance

I will never order from here again!The customer service was horrible!They stuffed up my order I rang to get it fixed and they had nothing but excuses and it was my fault!I confirmed my order with them over the phone once I complained and it’s my fault their menu log website doesn’t work correctly.I ordered two loaded schnitzels and got wraps! How the hell can you stuff that up?Also too the bag doesn’t come sealed when getting delivered. How do you know the driver hasn’t touched your food?

I ordered the hawaiian" which came with pineapple chunks. The pineapple was spoiled. I'm not sure how the restaurant wasn't aware because it was the first thing I smelled when I took the order out of the delivery bag. It was disgusting. The rotten pineapple juice covered the rest of the meal. I tried to eat around it but had to spit out my only bite - the entire meal was contaminated. I can't stop thinking about the smell and the taste. I feel sick thinking about it. I genuinely forgot that the chips were also cold. The delivery driver was very friendly

Most disappointing meal I have ever received. I don't mind paying for quality but I have a big problem paying top dollar for minimum standard. $42 for the Parma and classic Schnitzel. There would have been at most one third of a chopped up schnitzel in both dishes. The Parma was covered with what looked to be shredded spam and Bolognese sauce from a jar in effort to bulk up the appearance of the dish. The schnitzels were flavourless (thank goodness for the gravy). A very embarrassing effort for a newly opened business.
