Harvey Norman Launceston

The place is little bit out of the centre of the city but still closer than its competitors. It takes about 8 to 10 min to walk from the Launceston city centre. This shop has good collection of furniture, electronics and bedding. The staff was very helpful in making the purchase I wanted.

Tech guy who tended to us was amazing, knew what he was talking about and related extremely well to both myself and adult son. Great, informative service, attention to detail, knowledge and customer service excellence from the young Gamer champ who assisted us (only works Sundays), even organising our purchases to be carried out to the car, and giving us a warm handover to the furniture guy.

Harvey Norman Launceston will not assist customers with their warranty claims. I have had an ongoing warranty claim with Electrolux since 01/07/2022 and Harvey Norman Launceston have not assisted in any way during the last 10 months. Whoever takes care of the Tasbuilt contact and sold us the oven should be ashamed of themselves. You should not be in customer service. You are pathetic. We won't be buying anything from Harvey Norman or their franchises in the future and I would not recommend to anyone.

We have been so impressed with every department at Harvey Norman Launceston, from furniture, electrical to computers & mobiles, we wouldn’t take our business anywhere else. The staff are very knowledgeable, friendly, professional and always offer first class class, and the manager Nick is a true leader involving himself in every aspect of the business, meeting his customers. I have never believed in extended warranties in the past, until I purchased the Harvey Norman “Extended Warranty” as recommend by the staff and at my wife’s insistence, it truly is a great product, now I won’t buy a product without as it does what it says on the packet, I highly recommend it. Thank you Nick & team for always making each & every experience a memorable one.

Pretty helpful staff, wasnt sure whether the freezer would fit and salesman did a good job to help measure up against another model of floor stock, fortunately it did fit when i collected from off site bulkstore, freezer works well and suits my needs.

Noone acknowledged us as we browsed t.vs soundboard and after about 15 minutes had to ask someone sitting at a desk if they could help us with information about some t.vs. They located a very nice salesman named Nick who was very helpful and put our purchases through and assisted me in getting the process in motion for interest free payment card.

When i walked in. No acknowledgement no service. Waited for what felt like ever.. then said loud customer needs service here" with arms in the air...that worked.Not the most attentive staff. Could do with more workers i guess.Otherwise the place is really good."

Sent my sisters laptop in to have its screen replaced a month and a half ago. She paid the invoice to have it fixed with in a week and then they supposedly started repairs, “which would take a week”, now we find after numerous phone calls to them; that we should have been receiving with updates; that the laptop has been sent to the mainland without any communication or consultation until WE had to ask where it currently was. My sister starts her third year of Uni this month, of which they were made aware, and she now doesn’t have her laptop to complete her studies at the beginning of the semester. Never had any issues here before, but the matter of lack of communication regarding personal belongings is an issue, especially if it is persisting with other customers.
