Good country town pool. Clean and well serviced. There is a toddler pool, but the main pool jumps up a bit to kids who can swim. It's a bit too deep for 4/5/6 yr olds.

As we drove deep into Yass we were taken by the quaint Olympic Pool, so we took the opportunity to dive in for a refreshing dip on our way back to Sydney. And you can dive deep in Yass indeed! 3.3 metres deep in Yass to be precise. The drop-off at the far end of this bog-standard 50-metre pool is anything but standard. It plunges from 1.8m to 3.3m rather quickly.Entry is $5 but they’ve closed off the Change Rooms because Covid (why?????) so you need to change in a dunny BUT this pool privileges play over lap-swimmers. Yay! Six of the lanes are for fun while only one are for the lappies, a complete reversal of the usual Sydney ratios.

Was visiting nearby town and thought we would drop by Yass and have a quick look and maybe a dip at the pool. Happy that we did, nice place.
