Friendly and helpful station staff. Great views from the platform. Heated waiting room in winter.

When the buses are running you can't see what time they are because they don't put the train times up. So on the app at the moment you can only see the trains going down

Leura is a small town before Katoomba. Small but very beautiful. There are many stores with distinctive features. It's worthy of visiting. If you will go to Blue Mt, I recommend to stay here and relax.

Very nice old train station, very close to the main street of Leura.

Leura is a very beautiful town just off from the highway heading towards Sydney.Best town to stop for a coffee and some thing to eat, the service is great too and the people are so friendly.the best part it is so full of life. Very beatiful.

The Leura Station is a major train station in the Blue Mountains area, as it stands at about 1000 metres above sea level and is situated in the small town of Leura, right next to the major neighbouring town of Katoomba and the Great Western Highway, with trains arriving and departing here fairly punctually via several train lines between the area and the city centre of Sydney. As the town acts as a smaller, but important, access point to the Blue Mountains National Park, the Station is kept clean with well-maintained facilities. The staffs stationed here are also quite helpful and friendly to help, if you need any, and the general environment of the Station is quite a quiet one, with a local neighbourhood around it surrounded by the Blue Mountains National Park. Its country style of architecture also blends well into the vibes of the area, just like its neighbouring Katoomba Station with some distinctions between the two, and the directories in it are also clearly marked to ease your navigation through the Station.
