Ambitions Dance And Performing arts Studio

I have been with Ambitions Dance and Performing Arts Studio for over 5 years now and I absolutely love it! The teachers and director are really caring, lovely and encouraging and we have so much fun in class. My dancing and flexibility has improved so much since joining. They have so many more styles I can choose from compared to my old studio. They also have mirrors and ballet bares which my old studio didn't have. I love our end of year concert too. The studio is my home away from home.

Well very disappointing to read such negative comments about a small family run studio. We joined ambitions earlier in the year as our daughter had massive issues with self esteem and bullying at her state school. She struggled with social interaction with other kids as her school had bullied her so much she was so withdrawn. I turned to an add for Ambition dance studio and never looked back. I have always steered clear of dance because of the reputation it has of being bitchy but I have not been involved in any of that rubbish at all. All I have seen are kids who care about each other and teachers who really give a lot to their students. Even the ones who aren't as talented as the rest. Everyone gets a fair go.The end of year concert did go over but it was a hell of a show and I challenge anyone to managed and run that many students in one place. The Tiny s were dancing around at the front of the stage but not being feral. They were dancing and mimicking their peers. And I think that is a wonderful thing. I stayed till the end and enjoyed every ones performance knowing the hours that go in. Unlike a lot of people who chose to leave as soon as their kids danced. I think that is sad because the kids left to perform are then dancing to empty seats . Debbie Puts in lots of hours no one knows about and does so much behind the scenes to make sure this studio functions well.The toxic words of these individuals if you read between the lines are ones of sour grapes because they didn't get what they wanted. Hundreds of people attended and enjoyed themselves that night and It is sad that the opinions of a couple of disgruntled folk will set tongues wagging Ambitions is a studio that supports the kids. Doesn't focus on the tantrums of parents. And I for one am very happy with the support and love shown to my family and my daughter. You guys rock.

We have taken our 8 year old daughter to ambitions dance studio at the end of the second school term. At that point she had been having a very difficult time with school and being a part of a social group at all. Her self esteem was at rock bottom she had recently been diagnosed with depression and separation anxiety.Our experience is in stark contrast to some of the reviews below. Ambitions staff and leadership have been nothing short of AMAZING. The change in our daughters life began the moment we stepped through those doors. We have been there 3 nights per week every week since and she can't wait to see her new friends and get dancing.She loves to get dressed up and has really grown into a lovely more confident little girl. She practices her dance steps and is even creating her own choreography in bed at night to her favourite songs.The directors philosophy that it takes a whole village to raise our children" is spot on and this is a value that is demonstrated and actioned at every moment from the time the doors open to the time they close.The end of year concert was a scary experience for our daughter and she was very nervous as expected. (you won't catch me on stage dancing any time soon). It did run late

I became a part of the Ambitions family part way through 2015 and knew it was a great place to be right away. Our studio director Debbie has one of the biggest hearts in a person I have ever come across and puts so much dedication, hard work and love towards this studio. As a teacher at ambitions myself, I am blown away every class by not only the talent of the students but the positive attitudes and enthusiasm they bring to class with them. Each of my fellow teachers are absolutely wonderful in their own right and I hope that if I have children who one day want to dance, perform and learn how work in a team, that they get the opportunity to go to a studio that will give them all the opportunities that's Ambitions does.

Great little hairdressing salon up the stairs at this location. Very well priced with great service and friendly staff.

Ambitions is a great family friendly studio. I have three children who dance at Ambitions and the teachers are fantastic, they are loving caring people who encourage their students to improve and strive to do what they love.

Our money is gone, but at least a review lasts forever...Took them to Office of Fair Trading to recover money they owe us, but still refused to pay. Fair Trading informed us that the studio had not replied to their requests for a written response, but has limited power to chase them for our money anyway. We have now found a better value dance school for our child. The response below does not address the refund we were promised by the owner. We should not have paid our fees up-front.Our daughter was moved the senior class without being discussed with us, because it was too inconvenient for the teacher to do the class we paid for.BTW. no idea why they are bringing up Dance Photos as that is unrelated to the money they owe us. WE ADVISED THE PRINCIPAL BY PHONE. Your story is false. The PRINCIPAL was informed by myself that we would not be attending the photo session, so don't talk about decency because we know that OUR money will never be returned.

Ambitions dance & performing arts studio is the best dance studio by far in the Brownsplains area.The visions n values that they have are superb. Great work

EDIT:I have to write a public complaint for anyone to respond and all of a sudden the studio is getting 5 star reviews, funny that.I do not want a used costume that I paid for, I want my money back.Adult students have work commitments, it is their responsibility to ensure they know the routine, which I did. I simply asked for a copy of the routine that was fIlmed when I was there, tia PROMISED to email a copy to me and the rest of the class which never happened, and I forward warned you that I would miss some classes.Look, I'm really enjoying the banter here, but it makes your business look bad, just give me the refund.I spent one term at Ambitions, I saw a few questionable things, but that's not why I write this review. At the very start of the term I stated I may not be able to attend photo day, dress rehearsal or even the concert because I may have work commitments and requested all dates and times be sent to me so I can organise.. they did not comply, until I asked multiple times and finally got a date for the concert which I kept free and said I can commit to the concert. I missed a few classes towards the end of term, which I warned them I would. A couple of days before the concert, I requested a recent video to get emailed to me to ensure nothing in the dance had been changed. I received nothing from them, and again after asking multiple times, the day before the concert they replied that the teacher will be stepping in for me, because I missed the classes and I'm no longer required.I said I would be in to collect the costume that I paid for and they told me no, the costume is being used by the teacher for the concert. So they kicked me out of the dance, and gave the costume, which I paid for, to the teacher!!!I then requested the money back and still have yet to hear from them.I have proof of payment and proof of what has been said.I do not recommend going to or sending your children to ambitions.
