Edge Health Club

A gym that is more money-focused than actual positive experience, used one of their PTs and got given horrible advice on form and hurt my back, then I moved interstate and when I tried transferring my membership, whoever came they would convince them to not go ahead and just take out a new membership. They advertise family-owned and local but treat their customers negatively as long as they gain money.

I had joined Edge Fitness for a 1 year contract. Once this year had ended and the fees stopped charging from my card I had decided that I no longer want to attend Edge. Multiple months later I received an email stating that I was in dept to Edge. Even though I made every payment. Turns out they dont tell you that once the years finished they will stop charging you money from your account and put it down as dept. They stated that I needed to tell them I no longer want to attend Edge, when I signed up I was never told anything about this, I was told once the years up I'm done. So now because of Edge I own them almost one thousand because they never messaged me and stopped charging from my card without telling me.I'm not going to recommend this gym to anyone all they want is your money.

Such a casual yet professional place. Very friendly. I don't normally feel comfortable at gyms though I do here. Love the instructors. Enjoy the options. Just fantastic.

Super friendly gym, it's seriously been the best choice I have made for my mental and physical health since having my baby. The instructors help to keep your mindset stay strong and positive, and the creche has great staff that are super capable. Highly recommend!!

The guys at Edge were super helpful! After working in Darwin for the day and needing a shower before flying out I contacted the club. A lovely lady named Bridgette told me I was welcome to come down and use the gym and its facilities for the casual fee. A very well presented and laid out gym! Facilities were super clean and modern. Edge Health Club – more than a great gym. While this fitness facility has diverse equipment and group classes to accommodate all fitness levels, it’s the friendly community (members and staff) that makes Edge feel like “home”. I’ve met some amazing people over the years – some I’ll call friends for life. If I wasn’t moving away, I’d renew my ongoing, long-term membership at Edge which started in 2007 (with earlier versions of the gym).

Worst experience when it comes to membership payment. These guys put you on contract without letting you know and when you are about to cancel your membership, they will ask you to pay extra $200 as a part of contract which you never signed. They put your signature on the contract without your knowledge. Greedy people. Would never recommend to anyone

Really good gym with a lot of good equipment! There is a second floor with different areas for cardio, boxing, massage chairs and rooms for classes with personal trainers! Just about $3-4 more expensive a week than the neighbour Snap Fitness. SO worth it!
