Avenue Dental Kawana

Would give 10 stars if I could. Tom and his team have been incredible through helping me get my teeth sorted.Honestly the best dentists I’ve ever been to. From the second you walk through the door you’re taken care of and comfortable with all the information you need. I was worried about getting some removals, they talked me through it, made sure I was comfortable, put a film on and got to work. Highest of recommendations for these guys, no need to look anywhere else.

Dr Eric Kook, his amazing assistant Ginvery (likely spelt that wrong) and the reception staff were amazing!To go to the dentist at all is PTSD trauma suffered from poor childhood treatment by dentists which continued into my adult life.In comes Dr Eric who has a presence about him, his calming demeanour, explanations to the non dentist were outstaying and his patience second to none.Honestly I walked away weirdly looking forward to getting other work done without the same nervous shaking I had when I entered.Don’t get me wrong still not my favourite place to visit, bUT with dentists and teams surrounding him like you find at Avenue I’d have a cuppa there any day! -CAnnot recommend highly enough! The team at Avenue Dental Kawana are fantastic, especially for those of us who suffer from anxiety around any dental treatment. Dr Tom and the wonderful dental staff always go out of their way to make sure that the experience is as comfortable and stress free as possible and truly understand how to make changes to the norm to help those of us who struggle. I have been going to this practice since they opened and wouldn't go anywhere else!

The whole team are very friendly and caring. It has been a year of journey of dental visits and treatment to this clinic and they always show extra ordinary attitude to me and now to my family who receiving dental visits and treatment as well. Dr. Tom and Inge are very good professional dentist and dental hygienist. Of course not to forget the whole team from dental assistants and receptionists who are always kind and pleasant . Thanks for a happy smiles that you give to every individual who visited your clinic. :)

As per the other reviews, Avenue Dental is certainly a great clinic to get dental check ups and treatments. It is clear that the team are dedicated to improving their clinic, aiming to provide the best care, comfort, and experience possible. Since my last visit, they added Netflix and personal headphones to wear to help patients feel more comfortable. They also allow you to choose your own music to listen to, depending on what appointment you have booked. As someone who struggles with anxiety, I felt at ease for my fillings due to their explanations prior, their check-ins during, and their follow ups after my booking. Dental visits can be on the pricier side, but realistically you pay for the expertise and kindness of the staff and the quality of the materials and clinic, which is high here. Definitely recommend making a booking to be in control of your dental health!

Fantastic team at Avenue Dental Kawana. Erik is a great dentist and makes you feel relaxed and at ease. Went to Pacific Dental at Kawana for a clean and check prior to Avenue Dental and said all was good - see you in 6 months. Had a filling fall out 2 weeks later and couldn’t get in for 4-5 days so got in at Avenue and had a crown done the next day and followed up with a check up and just had my 7th filling done this morning. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to Pacific Dental and highly recommend Avenue Dental at Kawana. All the staff are brilliant.Paul

Highly recommend Avenue dental! The whole team were very friendly and greeted you with a smile. Thank you to Renae, Bree, and Courtney who did some fillings for me over the past couple days. They were very accomodating and helpful when I was feeling anxious and made sure to check if I was comfortable throughout the appts. By far the best dentist on the coast :)
