White Elephant Cafe
Food is good and well worth coming for, coffee is literally terrible. Worst coffee I’ve had in a long time. Milk was heated too hot and the coffee tasted burnt. It was a Friday and not busy, so no real excuse for the barista being rushed. I would suggest they improve the coffee as it will make this place better.Tables were also not cleared promptly.

My husband and I visited twice when we were in Margaret River. The first time we sat out on the deck to enjoy the beautiful views of the beach. I had smashed pumpkin, which is one of their signature dishes. My husband had the breakfast burger. Absolutely delicious and washed down with amazing coffee.The second visit was on a rainy day, so we had to sit inside. It's open and airy, with nice decor. I had the smashed avocado, and hubby had another breakfast burger (they are that good).You place your order up at the till. You are given a number, and they will bring the food to your table, but for the drinks and coffee, you are given a buzzer, so you will need to go back up to the counter to get it.There are no problems with this, as it means that food gets out to the customers effectively.

Lovely cafe, easy to find, plenty of parking although you may have an easy 3minute walk if can't get a close spot. Toilets are tidy, showers for beach goers. Quite a few tables/benches/seats, however I imagine weekends or holidays could be packed. Menu is nice, several GF options for our family. Currently chips as a side on it's own is not an option due to a shortage, however it can still be ordered as part of a meal. Food and coffee was hot and delicious. The view is lovely, just be aware of the seagulls - if you get up from your table unfinished they will attack your meal! Staff were very friendly, prompt with the cleaning and even put my daughters bag aside for safekeeping when she left it there!

Most important thing first: the food was amazing.However, we waited 35 minutes for one of our meals which was missing feta as a topping. After 45 minutes we asked about the second meal (bircher muesli) just to find out that they forgot about it. Another 5 minutes later we received that as well.We also got our drinks in paper cups while everyone around us had proper mugs so overall while the food was really good the experience wasn't.

Very nice place to spend an afternoon. We ordered extra drinks just so we could stay longer. The food was great and plentiful and the drinks were great. Good value for money coupled with great staff. The views were an added bonus and well worth the detour. Highly recommend.

We tried this cafe twice during our trip. Beautiful location near the beach. Excellent food and service. Flat white and egg dishes were perfect!
