Wallaby Childcare Harpley

As a parent with a child in this centre I am a bit concerned about these comments from an emotional ex employee and as to why she would write so many bad things.I have used another centre in the area (Community Child Care) and trust me Wallaby Harpley Child care centre is far from what she is advising.The director is a loyal and hard working woman who actually listens to the parents feed back when there is complaints. She employees great educators with high standards that actually care about the children and not to come work to sit there and have a conversation with each other. They watch the kids at all times. My son has had an accident at the centre and contact was made with us.My son has never been so happy until he moved to this centre that he actually gets up early to go have breakfast with his friends.This centre is also an early learning centre and my sons knowledge of colours, ABC, songs, Animals and the environment is growing more each day. He is actually drawing and painting now. While the Community Child Care centre always said he had no interest. The reason why he had no interest, the educators had no interest in teaching and spending time with the children.Wallaby Harpley have changed my son for the better.I am a proud and happy mum.Thank you Wallaby Harpley.

Our son absolutely loves it here! He gets really excited before he leaves home & always returns happy & exhausted after a day of fun & educational play. We are kept apprised of his activities & achievements through a special app, & cannot praise this place enough!Highly recommend!

My son’s been attending this centre since he was 11 months old. All the educators and the managements are always helpful, friendly, and always try their best to accomodate our needs. Most of the educators been working there for years so it feels like home for us. He’s now in kinder and already feel sad to leave this amazing centre next year. Definitely will be enrolling my infant as well to this centre when he’s ready.

So in his short 4 years, our son has been to 4 different day-cares across two states.Wallaby in Harpley is by far the best we have experienced.The Management team are very professional and helpful. They are responsive to any questions and always put us at ease if we are ever worried about anything.They are proactive in the care of the children and I love their approach to teaching the kids about sustainable living and the Australian indigenous culture.Our son loves it there and we will send our next child their too.

What an amazing centre.From carers, to the facilities, to the activities and management. I can honest not fault them in any way.We placed our daughter into this centre the day it opened and haven't looked back.It was her first time in a centre environment so ofcourse we were nervous about how things were going to pan out. We didn't need to worry. Our daughters teachers as well as all other staff and even the centre manager went out of their way to make not only our daughter comfortable and happy but us as parents aswell. And this has not stopped since then.The teachers are all so warm and welcoming and answer any questions we have. They seem to know all the children's names wether they are their primary teachers or not and that's something pretty special.I can say that we are beyond happy with the care our daughter is receiving and wouldn't think of taking her anywhere else.

It is with great sadness that I read the above comments, this is far from the truth. My son currently attendes this day car centre, i have nothing but positive things to say about the staff and management alike.There leadership within the Centre is outstanding, the staff in my son's room and I'm sure the staff through out the centre are awesome.From the moment we decided to send our child to this centre we were & are still are very confident the upper management. At no point in time has there been any doubt about leaving my son in their care.The establishment is very clean and tidy, there is plenty of room for the kids to play. Both staff and administration team are very approachable with any issues or concerns. The administration team contact us immediately if anything is wrong from, not feeling well or fallen over. At times if there is ever a cold or flu going around within a room the staff are quick to inform and display signs indicating and informing parents.Wallaby day care Centre is an above average centre it has and always will have my vote of confidence. I'll will give credit if credit is due.

My child is 2 years old now and she has developmental delays thanks to this daycare. She doesn’t even know her own name, can’t name colours or anything. This daycare never tried teaching the kids anything, and during meal times they didn’t even make her sit when she wanted to run away, and she would even take other kids’ food and they wouldn’t say anything. They kept saying “We can’t force the child.” They didn’t make her join activities like story time or meal time, just let her do whatever she wanted alone. They let her just have her milk bottle all day in her mouth. Don’t recommend this daycare at all.

Best daycare ever. Great staff, management, educations and cook. So helpful, welcoming and warm. My son has been there for approximately two years and my 7 month old just started. I thought I’d be a wreak but I felt so at ease knowing my baby was there and in good hands. My son has learnt so much there. Highly recommend.

I cannot even begin to describe the love my family have for this centre. My daughter has been coming here for almost 2 years now and has forged many friendships with both the children and the staff. All of the staff here love these children and make the effort to get to know all of them.Each transition is well planned so the children have the chance to get to know their next room before they’re just put in there. They’re given the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the other children and staff so it’s not a shock to the system! If they’re not ready, they aren’t forced to move. Nothing is too much for the staff when it comes to the welfare and wellbeing of these tiny people. They’ve become like family to us.Reading negative reviews is extremely disheartening because all of us parents know what has been said couldn’t be further from the truth. No matter where you do your placement, you’re not ever guaranteed work there afterwards so trying to tarnish the name of such an amazing centre because you don’t get your own way just makes you look really spiteful and immature - not the qualities we want our babies to be exposed to.Thanks to Wallaby Harpley for taking such good care of my girl and treating our family so well

Daughter was victimised for a 6 month period by another child in the same room. Made numerous attempts to communicate with staff about the routine violence that was occurring with no changes made to consistent bullying my daughter was subject to. Was contacted by the operations manager and advised that the safety of the children was equal to this child's right to express himself and the child's right to education and laughed when informing me that my daughter would never be able to avoid these kinds of problems. The safety of children is above all else in my opinion. Parents should know their children are safe and taken care of.Staff turnover is also alarming leading to zero consistency with children and a lack of experience. The sad part about this issue is since I removed both of my children from the centre the problem child has chosen another victim and routinely bullies them and assaults them with different implements. Further investigations need to be made regarding this centres ability to care for children.
