Streets Beach
Stunning fake sand beach in the heart of Southbank, with some amazing views looking over to Brisbane city! We visited in the winter hence why it’s empty and in need of some maintenance! I would love to come back here in the summer. Only a short walk from Brisbane city and by a beautiful park. There’s a path right by it where you can walk alongside the river and even get on the City Cat.

Streets Beach
AMAZING, that’s the word. A huge pool in the center of Brisbane, refreshing water and all facilities around (toilets, shower, drinks, food, playground for the kids, ect..). You need to come here, just to swim a little bit with a amazing view on Brisbane’s buildings. In the weed and in March, when it’s 34 degrees, this is a must. Every day we spent in Brisbane was a good day to go to this pool.

Very well planned area in the city which has plenty of greens surrounding the crystal clear man-made beach. Lots of shaded areas for picnic too. Located within walking distance of most of the iconic locations in Brisbane.

Excellent artifical beach on the river. Plenty of places to sit as well as imported sand and swimming with lifeguards. There are public toilets behind and a water filling station.

Streets Beach
A nice little man made beach that is open all day (but only has lifesavers at certain times of the day). It’s a large lagoon with various areas to swim, relax or play in. It is surrounded by views of the city and also has a lot of grassy areas to lounge around nearby. There are ice cream carts and little shops or cafes nearby too!

Streets Beach
This place is absolutely unique. I have already seen many cities and beaches but I don't know such a beach in the centre of the city. But not only swimming and sunbathing and playing is possible. You can enjoy many hospitality offers. And even in the evening I recommend this place for dining or just relaxing. If you in Brisbane you should not miss. If you are not in Brisbane I suggest to visit it and have a look at Streets Beach.

Streets Beach is a South Bank icon and a must-visit while exploring the 17-hectare South Bank Parklands. Australia’s only inner-city, man-made beach boasts a sparkling blue lagoon surrounded by white, sandy beaches and sub-tropical plants. Streets Beach is an oasis in the middle of Brisbane City.

This might be our new favorite place to hang out with the kids! I love that it’s a beach without having to go all the way to the ocean. Clean, laid back, and surrounded by lots of food options. Plus, there’s a cool playground right next door.

Wonderful place to spend a hot day, even when it gets dark. The water is at an amazing temperature, and the actual sand beach makes it even better. From 7am to midnight they have lifeguards on duty" so its extremely safe. Water isn't that high either. Plenty places to eat
