Recently had my pool and alfresco area concreted by a local contractor, who fortunately had Ken as his subcontractor for honing work. Prior to honing, the straightness of step edges and surface falls for drainage were terrible. Ken spent time honing , grouting and saw cutting the concrete to rescue the job. His attention to detail and persistence to achieve a satisfactory finish is greatly appreciated. We’ll done Ken.

Ken came and honed our alfresco which was coated in aggregate with the texture of a cheese grater. The finished product not only was beautifully smooth, but also beautifully finished. Ken was highly professional and meticulous in his approach to the job and we are delighted with the finished product. Can’t recommend Matrix highly enough. Great job for a very reasonable price.

I have just had Ken polish the concrete around patio and pool and he has done a great job and transformed what was a rough finish to perfection

I had Matrix arrange for 131sqm of crystal concrete laid and they polished it, the finish should be white but the concrete was not honed and sealed correctly now most of the concrete which was not finished correctly is stained with dirt which will not come out.This should be easy to clean and the small ammount of concrete which was done right cleans up with ease.I have asked Ken to come and take a look at the problem and he refused stating that this is how it should look.I have had a quote from another concrete polishing company to put this right and they want another $6k to grout fill all the holes and re hone and seal which is just under what I paid to Matrix concrete polishing.Everyone makes mistakes which I accept, but refusing to put the mistakes right speaks heaps for the company.

Ken made my concrete floor dreams come true at a great value price. He was near, tidy and thorough. He did some work that he possibly was not anticipating. Ken did everything cheerfully, promptly and to a high standard. I am totally in love with my new concrete floors.
