The Banksias

We stayed here as part of a family reunion, eighteen of us in total. We loved the fact that we all had our own cabins whilst the younger adults had the main house (upstairs) to themselves. You always get to gauge how well a trip has gone by seeing how often the kids are on their devices and there was none of that on this trip. We utilised the tennis court till well into the evening (yes there was tennis lighting), and the private golf course for a few hits and for golf buggy rides. During our trip, we had arranged private catering for two dinners which was delicious and amazing. We built beautiful memories here.

One of the best properties I’ve ever stayed! The only problem was, the time went too fast!The property had everything and anything you could possibly think of.Location and surrounds are beyond stunning.The most accommodating hosts I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and dealing with.Loved my cabin. The comfiest bed ever, loved the linen and I want to buy the blanket.The catered lunch was excellent quality. Local produce cooked and served beautifully. Loved it all!An absolutely superb experience.Thank you for making Andy’s 50th the best party to remember.I hope to return to The Banksia’s again someday soon x

Jo and her team went above and beyond any expectations for how amazing our wedding at the Banksias could be.Each room was beautifully decorated, individualised with fresh flowers from the garden and incredibly comfortable pillows. The honeymoon suite really was a special place to stay for our wedding.The location couldn't be better. We were able to walk to the beach for our wedding ceremony. But there are certainly options on the site of the Banksias for an excellent ceremony without leaving the property.Jo's thoughtful touches were seen everywhere during our drinks reception and meal. We worked together to decide on a delicious menu but it was even better than we could have expected. For example, we had planned to have oysters as a canape. However, on the day Jo had organised the fishmonger to attend and shuck the oysters individually for the guests! The best oysters I've ever had. Furthermore, the staff she employed were so personable and remembered our names. They truly made the day special.Nothing was ever too much effort for Jo and her team from when we first booked the property to the day we left.The house is also incredibly well stocked with anything you can imagine. Need cots? There are plenty for all the kids. Need cocktails? There are more than enough glasses to ensure all your guest are well catered for.Thank you so much for an amazing day.We would highly recommend The Banksias for a high-end celebration. We'd love to come back again. Our friend is already planning his 40th for this location.

Absolutely loved our time here! My extended family stayed here as we were attending a family wedding in Crescent Head. We all absolutely loved The Banksias which catered to all our different needs. The home was clean and comfortable and filled with so many amenities and appliances. We played tennis, went kayaking, played golf and sat around the outside fire. It was such a perfect, relaxing weekend. Couldn't recommend The Banksias more highly!

Had an amazing family holiday here!! Was so much fun playing tennis and making the most of the golf cart and the golf course!! Saw lots of cool wild life like wallabies and cows in the afternoon! The place was big and spacious so could have some alone time when needed but bonding with the fam in the other time.The place was clean and golf course freshly mowed.Would highly recommend staying here!!

We stayed at the Banksias for a week in September and loved every minute of it. We very comfortably fit 16 adults in the well-fitted out and luxurious bedrooms and cabins. We didn't get out into the National Park all that much as we spent most of our days making coffee/breakfast in the outdoor entertainment area, playing tennis and swimming in the creek, cooking in the spacious kitchen and sitting around the fire or in the spa on the chillier evenings. That said the location is spectacular, and we had the beach all to ourselves when we ventured out. Jo was a fantastic host, showing us around on our arrival and very responsive with a few minor queries throughout the week. We will be back!

An absolutely magical location. I had my 50th here, 17th of us for 4 nights, and it was perfect.The hosts, Jo & Paul, are lovely. Nothing was a drama, everything we could have wanted was looked after. Jo cooked an amazing sit down lunch for the full 17 guests Saturday. I highly recommend these guys. Book it!

I highly recommend staying at The Banksias! The property is very well maintained with plenty of spaces to relax and spend time with friends and family. We had so much fun playing tennis, golf, operating the golf cart, making pizzas in the pizza oven and watching a Formula 1 race in the outdoor cinema area. The rooms and cabins were very comfortable and the indoor and outdoor kitchen spaces well equipped. We had a wonderful and relaxing time - hopefully we will be back in the near future!

For a Family event, I spent 3 nights at The Banksias. I can honestly say my expectations were not only met but exceeded. The homestead had a large kitchen providing every item you could possibly need, the bedrooms were well maintained and extremely comfortable, the cabins had a luxurious feel while maintaining the charm of the idyllic surroundings. Some family members took advantage of the tennis court and well maintained golf course, while others relaxed in the outdoor hot tub or enjoyed the entertaining area with cinema but nothing on the screen could be more appealing than watching wildlife.The Host Jo made the whole experience from booking to checking in seamless and nothing was too much of a hassle.I’m already planning my next visit.

Utterly incomprehensible to me that anyone would not be charmed by this utterly beautiful home and cabins. Nestled in the bush with a lush golf course and a small creek we saw echidna and kangaroos and the bird life was incredible. You are close to a beautiful beach and Crescent Head itself is a five minute drive away.We were assembled for a family wedding and our 3 day retreat was just perfect . This family business is beautifully run, fresh orchids and Australian blooms in all rooms, lovely treasures from all over the world, family photos which give the house a personal rather than corporate feel. The local masseuse, Nikki was top notch and I’ve experienced massages in many different countries.I feel very lucky to have been able to stay in this place and I thank the proprietors for their hard work and generosity of spirit in creating such a lovely retreat.
